Legendary Lucina B slot

I know this is a bit late, but I finally managed to pull a Sumia and she's -Atk so I can safely fodder her to Lucina, but I still feel bad for Sumia, her being my only copy. So I've come to ask whether or not I should fodder Atk/Def Link to Lucina or keep her Desperation? I went to check out her build suggestions and it's recommending Desperation over Atk/Def link and I do know that you don't have to really follow what this website says but as I feel bad for Sumia and it got me thinking if I should just keep Lucina her desperation.
My Lucina is +Def -Res so with Atk/Def link she could have 54 attack and 35 defense, she could almost run something like close counter with that defense. But she works fine with Desperation too, so any advice would be appreciated ^^
Edit: I've made my decision to not fodder Sumia yet,

I personally run Desperation since I don't really feel like summoning a Sumia, and Atk/Spd Link (which is better for Lucy IMO) is bound to appear sometime. Desperation really helps Lucy clean up slower green units on top of blues and reds. Basically, she can practically destroy most units in the game given the proper preparations. It is easy to use given her decent bulk and high speed, so she should be only taking one hit when she engages. After that, Lucy can proceed to proc Desperation.
Atk/Def Link leaves something to be desired IMO because mages are even more of a threat to her. If she gets injured, then she won't really survive another round of combat with a unit who could counter. But, Lucy will have an easier time dealing with melee units with DC. Atk/Def Link is especially powerful if she is paired with a dancer since she could use the buffs for two combats in a single round.
In your case, I think you should give her Atk/Def Link to capitalize on her boon but I would give her Desperation.

Well, Atk/Def Link is a great 'expensive' skill that could be given to L!Lucina, but with her low Physical/Magical bulk I don't think she'll survive hits from SM!Eirika, I think Atk/Def link if mainly for people who are going to +10 L!Lucina with a Def boon. IMO, you should keep Sumia.

Raise to level 40 then fodder! That's what I'll do the first Sumia I get! However, I'd probably give someone Reprisal Lance. Atk Refine +DC + Vantage just sounds fun.

If you don't want to fodder her, keep your Sumia. L!Lucina is already very strong, and Desperation works well on her. Atk/Def link seems a bit more optimal for her, but she can work without it.
Plus Sumia maybe will be demoted in a couple days, personally, I would wait for the next banner before fodder her if you want to.

I use desperation and LnD3 since mine is -atk +def,It's not a bad idea,but I'm a little uncomfortable with foddering off a unit I only have 1 of,also sumia can be quite tanky with the right build and ignis.
