Least Favorite Legendary Hero & Why

Maybe you think theyre useless, maybe you think theyre utterly broken and game breaking (you know who you are). Maybe theyve never shown up for you on a banner no matter how many orbs throw at them (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE); who's your least favorite.

My pick would have to be L!Robin. Absolutely groundbreaking, a flying colorless dragonstone user with inbuilt DC and a signature skill. How is it that you, a Legendary Hero, were completely outclassed by a seasonal alt? Also, how are you going to be a Fallen Hero and a Legendary Hero? Kinda contradictory aesthetics here, when we could have had a colorless Grandmaster Mage Robin.

Lyn. She was the very first colored bow unit, and she was an absolute disappointment. I'm not saying that she's bad (I don't have her), but her base kit, as well as her stats, don't really show anything special.

I have her +spd she struggles to kill things being green+ low atk
She fights mages pretty well but a lot of archers can fill that role. Her animation is dope but she doesn’t really stand out and fails as a mixed phase unit she better being full out defensive changing A slot to fury and throwing Owain special for her.
She required a lot of investment and she’s not really worth it

A fan of Lyn here and I agree with you a 100 percent.
It was an unnecessary alt with upgraded art to bait fans into spending obscene amounts of money. Her kit lacks synergy with her stats just like Legendary Ryoma. Speed tactics has been locked to her for far too long.

Damn, that's adorable.

It is a shame. I think with Speed Tactic being a focal selling point for L!Lyn, we wont see it on a normal summoning pool unit Tactics skills get powercrept

L!Lucina makes me rage. Not because she's Lucina (I don't have a alt Lucina) But Thogn and Future vision is even more broken and annoying than my soul and heart combined.

I dread the wind season when L!Lucina returns as a bonus arena unit. Getting cross mapped by Future Vision is an absolute pain

Least favorite is Lucina. I don't mind too much that she was the 4/5th Lucina. HOWEVER, shes annoying in Arena when she suicides into my bonus unit and she did rob that slot from Alm.

Ryoma- Everything about his character/class makes me rage. IS should have made another legendary and change up his constume/add a special costume.
#an armored fast sword would’ve been cool for Ryoma but nope.
His crit lines don’t make any sense how is my name is Ryoma a finishing line like wtf that makes no sense he just introduced himself and now wishes death is he Grima??
I don’t understand why he is a legendary hero it’s pretty dumb
Marth,Seliph,Alm easily deserve it before him.
Hell, I’ll take Chrom to be a legendary hero since he’s a big part of awakening they’ve repeated game so why not skip fates stupid writing.
Is could have done some cool things like made Lute a legendary hero cause she’s better than everybody but whatever
It was a good ideal in theory because people like Ryoma but poor execution in terms of class/Skills

Ryoma was a mistake. Considering the outcry the previous month for Marth and Ryoma alts, one can only assume that IS misread the room. Now Ryoma wastes a potential L!Hero spot with his boring DC sword and lackluster signature skill (and incredible stat line)

Yeah I don’t think it’s wasted cause I doubt IS will end new legendary hero banners. It’s a great ideal for Fe Heroes and It’s one of the things people look forward too which is good for the game especially at the end of every month so people are often reminded every month to check.
They barely make any new content as of now so I don’t expect legendary hero to go away tbh
But Ryoma was a mistake for sure.

I am a massive fan of Ryoma and know what, I absolutely agree with you.
The more you like him as a character, the much more you hate his legendary alt. Sure, he is a godtier firesweep one, but Legendary should mean something more unique and interesting. Even his special trigger voice lines are just blank and dumbly irrelevant.
This just shows how the laziness from IS wastes his potential as one of the fastest swordmaster in the entire series. Imho he deserves everything from Karla, stat spread and weapon alike (hell, Karla should not deserve anything in this game).
This will not justify enough how I am sad and rage at those who made Ryoma like that. I just hope they will never make the same mistake to the rest of the game's character (Alm, Seliph, Micaiah, Eirika...they all deserve the best as a Legendary alt).

L!Lyn.She is still one of my favorite heroes in the series (Lyn) but OMG this form is honestly the worst being colored doesn't help her it hurts her and her stats are so shit plus Law of Sacae tried to make her more enemy phase when it should've activated when she initiates

If she was colorless she would be a little bit better but being a color with low attack kills her unless you invest heavily and at that point any brave now +10 archer is a lot better or hell even base Innes is a lot better

He's good though. A solid sustain unit without any big drawbacks.

Don't get me wrong, hes a really good unit who makes a lot of content easier to clear for true F2P, just I don't understand peoples infatuation with Ike, as hes a sub-par character compared to the rest of the cast.
Also I remember eagerly awaiting for the banner video to drop, to see what new unit, unique to FEH, was going to show up, only to have my hopes slaughtered as L!Ike made his debut, forever marking that L!Heroes are going to be alts.

Also he shouldn't have won that free unit competition, people were mad they didn't pull him on the banner, and people for some reason Like Ike. W!Tharja should have won, shes a better, harder to get unit with better fodder potential.

Although the space jam memes are good, those are welcomed.

Also, getting his dad would have been cooler.

Grima, because it feels out of place with all of the heroes. Also she makes me not get Innes, Faye, and LA!Roy merges. I also dislike her middling stat line.

She needs a better BST.

Tiki is a flagship character though she deserves to be OP.
Also, they probably realize that not many people are going to roll on these supposed legendary banners if the exclusive 8% only units are not top shelf quality.

They just keep making New heroes stronger and stronger and IS favors Armor units they are now able to double almost all the time have crazy ass defensive stats with high Attack. Oh, but their speed is low. It does not matter when they can always double. Some armors after buffs have such high stats it is inssain how are you supposed to Damage a green armor with incombat DEF of 62 that will always double even if you have a red unit. If the armor survives you have to get your unit out of his range unless he has the movement buff too at which time you are just screwed.

It'd be easier to list the ones that met my expectations for what should count as "legendary" (Marth? Nice. Gunnthra? Extra Nice.) but everyone from like... Fgrobin to Lucina was a massive snoozefest, with Fgrobin being my least favorite among them because she's just... mgrima but colorless and flying with skills that negate the disadvantages of those two traits. Like yeah the whole "guess what? we make the rules so we can add new weapon types" thing was neat but it's hard to get excited about that when they didn't do anything revolutionary with the concept. In that respect at least colored bows and daggers can circumvent Breaker effects (however rare they may be now); being a grey breath just means you can't rock-paper-scissors your way to victory or defeat, which is hardly an interesting idea when that applied to a quarter of the cast already.
Ike's also extra guilty of barely being more than a carbon copy of someone else but he hasn't pitybroken me when I was aiming for another unit yet so he's *just* on thin ice.

L!Tiki, she's far too busted, not to mention the 180 BST for being a armored dragon. No offense to tiki fans.

Also, she was released one month after B!Hector, and completely powercreeped him.

Female Grima.

If only because she pitybroke me when I wanted a Genny or a better HJakob!!! Still hate her, she has NO REASON to be a legendary, and IS never added more colorless legendaries for a while, so I have to avoid colorless to avoid her ugly face!

It's between Ryoma, Lucina, and Lyn.

Ryoma: Lackluster and didn't really have much to set him apart such as a weapon refine and had a worse wrath...

Lucina: kind of bs given her weapon, and assist. Pair this with an ability to get link skills to make her even more insane irks me.

Lyn: her kit is all over the place and she is unable (IMO) to decide if she wants to be a support unit, or an offensive unit.

Just my thoughts, and an honorable mention to F!Grima who is just so underwhelming compared to her male counterpart (again IMO)
