Least Favorite FE character

What is your guys least favorite male and female characters from FE mine are ephraim and tharja because in FE SS I would rather see Lyon then him and tharja I can't stand her and why everyone likes her so much

Compelling reason to dislike Ephraim, 'I like to look at Lyon more'.

Well, if I had to pick; I'm gonna pick one that counts as both
Hate is a strong word, but I'm not a fan of Corrin at al.
I just can't get a sense of personality, any idea what skills they have, what interests them. Yet they are supposed to be more than blank slade characters.
Xander and Ryoma would have been good protagonists, with the more screentime it brings, they'd be better.
Also the fact that so many characters are corrin-sexual to some degree.

Best to compare them to Robin:
Robin is a bookworm who is cautious and stiff but with a good sence of humor. They play the straight man in the supports, but often seem like they like the wierd stuff their friends do.
While a lot of characters like Robin, only Tharja and Chrom really are on the obsessed level.
Helps that the focus is on Chrom/Lucina over Robin quite often.

Lyon to me just had more character then Ephraim and Lyon respects both of the main characters so much and yes they were childhood friends but even as the villain he still respects his friends so much

..that still doesn't make any sense to me.

Sure I get that Lyon is the better character, I agree.
Lyon is one of the best characters in FE, sympathetic, tragic, very connected with the main characters.
But I don't see why that makes Ephraim the worst character.

If anything, they bring eachother up.
For Lyon, Ephraim is everything he wants to be; Strong, confident, has the admiration of Eirika.
Meanwhile Lyon is for Ephraim his biggest failure. He was blind to the troubles of his best friend and hates himself for it. But he also knows that he can't back down from fighting Lyon, for the good of the world.

They build on eachother in tragic ways.

Roy.

Not because of his character nor because of anything he has done or anything else.
I just simple hate him because at my earlier days in FEH I had a full mage team and went into arena with them.
Then I met him.
The DC, QR refine, DD Seal, Wrath +10 Roy. He soloed my whole team and I couldn't do a single thing to help them... From this day on I decided to hate Roy with all with all my passion.

Camilla, probably. She's so irritating and such hamfisted male fanservice, it's insulting. And creepy. In Fates, you're basically her sister/brother, and that's how she thinks of you (up until the point you romance her, if you do, and that's weird no matter which sibling you romance), yet she acts weirdly flirty toward you. I pretty much just hate everything about her, which makes the fact she's constantly shoved in my face all the more annoying.

(I don't like Tharja either, but Camilla irritates me more.)

Oh, and Peri. Peri's awful. And Charlotte. Actually, I was very disappointed in the overall likability (or lack thereof) of the female characters in Fates. There are a few that I do like, but more that I don't.

I can agree with this EXCEPT for Charlotte. That's the best Nohr girl. She's actually really well written imo. I'd go into it but I'm not sure if people want to hear me ramble about how Charlotte is on of the best Fates characters so :p

Lots of characters in Fates that are left to be desired. So to sum it all up, any character that has a secondary personality trait(Odd quirks) as their primary personality trait. Things like Setsuna's ability to fall into traps or Arthur's bad luck are constantly and consistently beaten into the ground. It's lazy writing, and there's nothing funny about it.

I agree because a lot of the characters in fates were really bad like my least favorite is Leo and his retainers were way better

Male: Azama. Someone who trolls everyone around and can't be beaten by being ignored because he doesn't need the reaction, unlike Niles, Azama just enjoys tormenting and insulting you. I felt bad for marrying Felicia to him. I played pseudo-classic (not classic but if a unit dies I restart the battle), if I'd been able to unequip everything and send him to his permanent death after I'd recruited Mitama, I would have.

Female: Maybe Faye for telling Silque to f*ck off because she isn't Alm.

Yeah Faye was really annoying she is my least favorite echoes character

For the ladies: Tharja. Or rather, what I prefer to call her: Thotslut. Her unhealthy obsession with the Awakening avatar killed the yandere archetype for me.

For the guys, Shinon. He's nothing more than a complete jerk to everyone. Sure, Soren was somewhat like that too, but at least Soren also had a troubled past that let me sympathize with him. Shinon...has nothing to back him up in my eyes.

Yes someone understands that's why when someone says they like tharja I'm like " you only like her because you think she's hot or you like sluts"

Peri - the voice.
Faye - one note character/annoying to the max.
Selena - (reference Faye)
Azura and Cordelia - too perfect (not in a good way)
Sumia - they were trying too hard to make her cute
All Annas - MONEY MONEY MONEY obsessed.

To be fair to Cordelia, it's more her being a perfectionist. She has plenty of flaws.
Self loathing, survival guilt, overly critical, the entire Chrom problem ect.
