L&D3 for Legion?

I'm building a Brave Axe+ Legion, and I'm looking to give him Life and Death 3. The only one that has it among my roster is Jaffar, who has +Atk, -Def.

I'm hesitant on whether or not I should sacrifice him to Legion as his IVs are pretty good, and I've wanting to pull him for ages. At the same time, I'm having difficulty finding a place for Jaffar in a team.

Should I sacrifice Jaffar for L&D or not? (And if not, should I use Fury 3 or Death Blow 3?)

I have the same IV Jaffar. He can be useful as chipping, but daggers aren't really great in general right now. I would recommend against sacking him for the pure fact that he's a 5*, but Life and Death 2 should hold your Legion over for a while if you still wanna go for that build.

It will become op but legion has very low defensice stats and it can be killed at first touch by actually any unit, i recommend you to leave him his birth skill fury 3 and use Life and Death 3 for another units even if that jaffar is kinda good i wont give it away so that's my point of view

Having abysmal defense is no big deal if you are using a Dancer/Singer to Assist Legion away. There is no point in boosting his Defense and Resistance if he is not going to be hit at all on Enemy Phase.

Fury 3 + Reprisal + Desperation should actually hold the fort down more than enough. Try to pull for a LD3 unit on that banner so you don't have to sacrifice Jaffar.

I use brave axe+ Legion with Life&Death, Panic Ploy and WoM. He is a beast. I wouldn't sacrifice Jaffar tho, he has good IV's. Fury may be a good alternative, or you could give him L&D 2.

Life and Death 3 is generally better for Legion but if you don't want to sacrifice Jaffar and those are decent IVs too, you can just run it's default Fury 3 A slot skill. Although because of his paper-thin defenses and being vulnerable to ranged attackers it's a double-edge sword so use at your own risk.

You literally have no reason to keep a character just because they're *5, unless you really like them. I mean, if you're not using them, they'll just sit there. ON THE OTHER HAND, LD3 on a Brave-build Legion isn't exactly super crazy. 35 Spd doesn't exactly double everything, and is mostly in the "not likely to get doubled" range. His Atk should be enough to 2HKO a lot of characters as it is, so Deathblow isn't a bad idea. Then there's just keeping Fury, which increases his Spd to a point where he's still not super likely to get doubled at 33 Spd (34, with a Seal).

Basically:

If you really want him to avoid getting doubled (which is, what, characters like Lucina and Nino who will do so, anyway?), go for LD3.
