Laslow or Soleil (Fates)

Sorry this doesn't have to do with Fire Emblem Heroes, but I'm playing through Fates (Conquest) for the first time and I'm wondering if I should use Laslow or Soleil. Here are some reasons to use them, as I see it:
Laslow:
Better attack stat
He's a daddy
funny personality
sexy voice
husbando material
Soleil:
Better speed stat
Bi queen
waifu material
awesome voice
funny supports

Well, you need to marry Laslow before you get Soleil, as she is his child. You still need to deploy Laslow in your maps so that he can build support.

Once you do get her, you can compare the two and see which one you prefer. (Laslow might come out RNG blessed or cursed, which may or may not make him more viable than Soleil.)

If you don't care for stats, just pick the one you like more. (Or, you can use both father and daughter.)

I played with the adults till chapter 18-20 then did all the children paralogues. I switched the parents for the kids as I unlocked them. No real logic to which one you use except if you are looking for the better stats.

Honestly, I had the same issue, but Laslow got outclassed by Soleil, stats-wise, so I used Soleil and tried to keep Laslow along because he's daddy, but never used him a whole lot other than being the dad.

I like both of their crit/skill activation lines like "Smile, you're dead," "S-stop staring," and "Dance for me!"

But I'd give it to Soleil. I like the myrmidon, assassin, swordmaster stats she has. Only issue is her fragility in swarms.

I think Laslow might be the better decision if you like a more defensive playstyle, but Soleil is probably more aggressive.

Followup: How do you promote to a secondary class? I already have a solid Hero and Bow Knight, so I'd rather have Soleil as another class... I don't mean the heart seal ones, either. Like, they inherit classes through their parents, i think.
