L'arachel Set

I'm doing L'arachel as a 4* merge project and wonder if I should keep Ivaldi or give her a Blarblade+. She's now at +7 but neutral IVs is the best I've got, I'm hoping for +Spd -Def for my final one.

I usually like to keep unique weapons but Ivaldi's underwhelming. Going with Blarblade+ puts her in competition with my +1, +Spd Olwen who already has one, L'arachel would have 2 less speed but 9 more attack. It has to be Blarblade and send Olwen to the bench, right?

I'll add I got a bad IV 5* L'arachel on the banner right after her's ended so 'Ivaldi may get a refine' isn't a worry, she'll have it either way.

i would go with blarblade and +spd iv. but the bane in def wouldn´t be my choice, since she only has 145 bst and the superbane in def would make her 144 and let her score less in arena. so my bane of choice would be res, since 28 // 32 at +10 // is still enough imo.

She won't be used in the arena, unless she comes round as a bonus unit randomly. Would your recommendation of bane change with that info?

In my opinion even outside Arena - res is the better bane, even if she had no superbanes on def.
-res will just lower her bulk against mages, while - def will lower her bulk against physical hits and dragons which is much worse as they are the most common units in any mode.
In general the only reason that can make - res a bad bane is if you want to run ploys or special that scales of on res, if not - res is the best bane on mages that have higher res that def
