Langrisser coming soon

Seems to be a Langrisser mobile game coming soon. I never had a sega so I don't know anything about it. Still from the few pictures I saw on the playstore, it looks like it could be similar in some ways to Fire Emblem.

Anybody excited about it or keen to share a few key gameplay details?

No one cares, the games being shilled to hell and back to the point where i've seen twitter posts from the official langrisser twitter account saying "FEH Is old and busted, get with the new hotness" and "Play a game that is actually fun!"

Yeah you know the game is scratching and trying to vye for the fanbase it doesn't has when it's lowered itself to talking shit about a popular series before even being released.

That and with it's art and gameplay being so (generic) meh, to me, I find that it'll be hard to beat FEH, especially when it's rates from what I hear are about as bad as Dragalia (worse than FGO)

Ok, this is coming from someone who played it during closed beta. This game is actually pretty fun, it has things that FEH should of had since day 1.

First, the maps are not too big and not too small. It actually encourages you to play strategically, even if you have a 5* unit that unit could still be destroyed with the wrong matchup.

Secondly, the game have a system where every single unit could upgrade to different movement types. Good example is the class system from Fire Emblem Sacred Stones.

Third, the summoning rates are ok I think? Well I had decent pulls when I was playing. Something that this game does where FEH dosent, is that it gives u a chance on getting every character (eventually) with shards. Have enough shards and you will own that character. Seriously, I might never own a Linde because IS only want to run the newest units and milk the awakening/fates royals/fanservice big titties. (When will IS make a shop so I can use the 9 million arena coins and shards that I have)

Finally, the last thing I think this game does better than FEH is the story. It's actually interesting and you could feel that the company is putting some effort. The game made me care for the main characters with a couple of chapters than the entire book 1 & 2 OC characters. They also added the entire langrisser 2 game for people who never played the game before so you can be familiar with the cast from that game (more maps are coming in future updates). Every single character has a great summary on who they are, where they came from, what they did in the war, ect.
Something that IS FAILED HARD with trying to introduce old characters to the new crowd and giving them a reason to give a shit about them.

The art style is a hit or miss, I like it since it's really a more modern take of a older style that we don't really see anymore. A lot of the designs tell you the personality of that character (which is something where lacking nowadays imo).

Honestly I would not listen to anybody who has no clue what this series is about and that are talking trash about it because they think it's attacking FEH with its ad. I recommend that you should try it out and if you don't like it will I least you tried it. Hopefully you enjoy it like I did

Fun Fact: Langrisser 1 & 2 is being remade for the switch with updated art (but it's not as good as the art from the mobile game). There is a comparison between the old & new art for it in a website. If you want I can put up the link.
