LA Lyn build?

I use the owl tome with her atk/spd bond skill since I'll mainly place her in an armor team, which tend to clump anyways. I also put desperation on her so if she took some damage, she can double immediately in her next initiations. The only time you want to use blade tome on her is when her fellow armor allies carry hone and fortify armor. But I prefer wards and goads so I run owl tome.

Owl tome looks good on paper (can be refined, synergises with nature of armoured units and wards/bonds/Armour March) but it lacks practicality.

It isn't viable to be in a formation to receive the maximum buffs at all times, and in reality, Blade tome with one dedicated emblem buffer/Armour March/Bond slave out-performs it on both phases when used in conjunction with Quick Riposte. The potential for damage with Blade tome is much higher as well.

Since she has so much speed the defense and resistance aren't nearly as valuable as it is for a unit like W Tharja who will get hit twice and thus gets double the benefit. Also since her base attack is low, she really needs to proc a 3+ turn special or blade tome to secure a ORKO in many matchups. You could run an owl tome, but then you'd want to pair it with an expensive Vengeful Fighter to ensure she can at least trigger Iceberg. Bladetome builds don't require Vengeful so more budget friendly but also perform better on player phase which synergizes with her armor march.
