Is Klein worth keeping?

I pulled a +Atk/-Def 5 star Klein last night while pulling from the Brave banner. I see 3 potential options for him and need help deciding which to do:

1) Keep him and build him out. That's a pretty ideal set of IVs. However, as I have Summer Gaius and Brave Lyn, he'd be an Arena Assault unit only for the most part.

2) Give his Brave Bow+ to Lyn for PvE. Lyn's legendary bow is totally the way to go for Arena, but Brave Bow + Desperation is a little more optimal for PvE.

3) Give Quick Riposte 3 to Xander to optimize Arena score. This seems kind of wasteful as the difference between 2 and 3 is so minor in practical application. It's mostly an Arena score issue.

Given I'm sitting on 60k feathers right now, 2 and 3 could be accomplished without burning an optimal 5 star Klein mind you.

Bonus question: As I have about 8 Ninos at this point (none are the ideal +SpD/-Def sadly, though one is +Atk/-Def), should I start merging them at the 4 star level and merge a 5 star onto the merged 4 star one to give her Gronblade+? It seems like a better use of feathers than 5 starring multiple Ninos.

1) Not a bad option... Having a variety of units is always useful in Arena Assault and his lower weight won't matter. The nice thing about this is that his initial kit is tight and you won't need to inherit much to him, so you can always use him for SI later if it's not working out.

2) Investing in Brave Lyn would probably make the strongest impact. Not much else to say here.

3) There's some merit to optimizing arena scoring and Xander weathers the DC nerf alright (his defense lets him tank Brave Lyn fairly well). I'd still recommend holding off on this to see how the meta shakes out over the next month.

Bonus: The difference in damage potential between blade and blade+ is minor. It's valid to go for 4* +10 Nino but I don't think the upgraded tome is worth the feathers.

Honestly it is up to you but keep in mind Klein is a very good unit on his own and having the perfect iv for him is imo keep worthy.

My opinion is highly biased, because I would never sacrifice an optimal IV 5* unit. Although I have to admit that Lyn can definitely use Brave bow but it can be given to her by Gordin, who is quite common. Quick riposte inheritance seems like the least worthy option, because the score boost will be minor and not worth the sacrifice imho.

As for Nino. I think that she's one of those heroes that deserves to be a long time investment (if you are planning to play this game for that long), so making her eventually into a 5* merge will give you pretty good arena score even though she has lower BST.

Your Klein is the same as mine, and mine is the primary reason I do well in this game. He doesn't even need skill inheritance to be good (although you can give him Luna for a slightly better special). Keep him.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll keep him for now with his base skillset and see how it goes. I think I'm going to invest 20k anyway into getting the Brave Bow+ onto Lyn for chain challenge purposes.
