But the massive like to dislike ratio is generally because of Camilla, right?

I'm saying this because I generally agree and hate that there's so many alts of her. On the other hand, it's kinds cool to see new Corrin alts, I count the different genders as different characters, since they come out at a fair rate. The ones at the beginning Summer and Winter of last year then now seems fair. And Mikoto has good skills. Here's to hoping she's demoted.

It's almost certainly because of Camilla. Even if just going by the banner theme itself having the Corrins and Mikoto (plus the free Azura were getting) makes sense. Camilla doesn't fit into this banner theme at all (that and she already has too many alts).

Could you imagine if Arete, Lilith, Sumeragi, or not possessed Garon took place of Camilla?

This banner would be a plus all the way for people.

Actually its more of due to it being a fates banner... Again, as well as only 1 truly new unit

Her inclusion is probably a big par of the dislikes, but definitely not all. There's also the fact that it's yet another Fates banner and that of the 5 announced/shown units, only a whopping 1 of them is an entirely new character.
