I know, it's harsh. I'm sorry. But god damn, there's more characters in the game than these two. Seriously, this combo needs to stop or be banned or something. As if I didn't hate Brave Lyn enough, you pair her up with Rien and two dancers. Ffs.

This is what I hate about some players, they suck off Lynhardt way too much and it sometimes impossible to make a first move and bate Reinhardt/Lyn/Veronica so you can destroy their team. Horses emblem teams are the absolute worst.

do you didn't use one of the many, many easy counters to the most prominent combos and are now complaining because you didn't prepare?

Yeah well the game shouldn't have to consist of an anti Lyndhardt team. Because that's stupid. I shouldn't be needing to face the same two people every single time. I'm not going to ruin my Flier Emblem just so I can counter two single enemies, who I don't even have the probability to face every match. That's asinine.

Stop for a second and think, YOU are being stupid. Reinhardt and Lyn is a combo that works so you SHOULD have a team that counters them. It's not a matter of whether the game revolves around that, it's a matter of you not making the effort. If you actually made a team capable of countering them, you would be glad for always having an easy win.

Myrrh is a easy counter to both of them and wouldn't ruin your flier emblem team

Another Lynhardt hate thread, I thought these had died when people learned that you could easily counter them. Now, this may sound harsh, but cmon dude the games 2 years old now, get a grip on how to counter them, it's not very hard.

Hell, I barely plan and one of the few things I do is for this. Just preplan for this and a few other common occurences and get over it, cause to be honest, these threads should have died when all the easily available counters that exist for these two in game came into play.

Like, just build a Fae, or a mage tank. Hell even a Julius. Instead of writing about it, like most posts in reddit and gamepress who simply do this out of salt, just adapt. We're tacticians, we adapt. I know I'm gonna get downvoted, but truly, it's been 2 years, just adapt to it. It really isn't that hard mate.

Fjorm can actually counter them both and she’s a Bonus unit that everyone has.

I'm sure Fjorm dies to Brave Bow+ Luna Lyns as she cannot counter her due to Lyn's B skill.

SHE can tank a Brave Lyn with a Default base kit. I haven’t seen any heavily invested yet in AR yet. If a Brave Lyn was going to take out my Fjorm, she would obviously have to double her. Fjorm somehow reaches 39-43 ( can remember exactly what the Spd was) Spd when I attack in AR. With Luna and BB+, I’m pretty sure that she could probably survive if B!Lyn initiates combat first. Also if that B!Lyn had Heavy Blade seal, there isn’t absolutely no way she will have higher Atk than Fjorm as I’ve seen her with at least 50+ Atk.

You think I already haven't? I've built Fae. I've built F!Kana. But I'm not gonna lug around a Lyndhardt counter just to counter two enemies that I don't know will show up in certainly matches. I like my Emblems. Flier specifically. And I hate that I do have to resort to using counters to them at times. That's why I face them with what I got, to show that I don't need a counter in the first place.
It's stupid I know. But it's my way of thinking. I just wish I never even had to make these threads in the first place. But Lynhardt just brings so much salt and disgust out of me, I should be dead by now.

Then you're costing yourself wings. A tactician plans for the unforseen and what is most likely. You're shoehorning yourself into failure if you only play with flier emblem and expect this not to happen. Sure, you may like it, but we're supposed to adapt and overcome. Taking the route you like the most should also have you thinking about what is more likely to happen. You may dislike it, but you must have noticed this would happen.

Otherwise, you're deluding yourself into thinking that a very potent combo ingame isn't going to be used at all in a game mode that doesn't rely on bst, which is worse than not preparing for it in my eyes.

Seriously, if you wanna avoid salt, play like the tactician were meant to be. Plan, prepare, and then you won't have to write these or be salty. Hell, next time Spring Camilla is around, just pull and build her as a counter, she'll do wonders if you're hell bent on a flier emblem (or you can even build any of the current mage fliers with a antibow build, not very costly either)

*sigh* you're right. I know you are. And I wish I wasn't in the wrong with my playstyle. I never said i was the best at the game. Trust me, I'm god awful at it sometimes. I'm just not comfortable with a playstyle that doesn't suit me or I just feel dirty for using. It's just a thing with me. Ill get used to it, but I wish it didn't have to be this way. But hey, wishing doesn't get you anywhere. Its the acts and commitment you do.
I'll try to be better, I will. But as long as Lynhardt shows up on my screen, I'm not going to be facing them happily.

Either building a dancer for the team or an iotes shield tank to handle them. With the new refines Florina can probably beat both of them if you decide to merge her up.

You're the kid whinning about Lyn and Reinhardt in 2018 when many hard counters exist. If you're this bad at the game and raging about it online, just uninstall FEH honestly :)

Oh, please. I know I'm horrible at the game. And I know my mind set and tactics are trash. Don't have to tell me twice.
But I'm not going to uninstall the game just because of two characters. At the end of the day, i may be experienced in the game but I'm still learning. A little salt is what helps me push on through the challenge.

This is why I throw my Sheena on all my arena teams and now especially with this game mode, they can't do shit to her without their special's which she prevent's them thanks to Guard Axe, sure I can't hit Lyn back but baits her out to kill her with someone else

I get that it's frustrating facing this setup, but remember that you can preview the maps and have access to 5 different Raid teams (assuming that you have them built) to choose before each battle. Even if your Flier Emblem team doesn't have an answer, you can always make a dedicated anti-Rein/Lyn ready in the back just in case.

As much as i like lyn as a character brave lyn makes me want to die. She isnt hard to counter, iotes cherche takes about 4 damage or something. Same with rein, florina with dc eats him alive. it is unfun to see the same 7 units cause theyre "meta" and everyones a scorehungry asshole.

Man, just kill Reinhardt and Lyn and they are done. You have the adventage you can make the first attack.

That's why you need Adult Tiki Lighting Breath +10 Guard and QR seal, for killing freaking Brave Lyns.
Thank you for reminding me creating a sole team for facing bravelynhardt and 2 dancers.
Also, get a Sheena DC +spd for easy Rein kills.
Those are the best 2 solutions for me.
And I use Reinhardt in my core cause I love him killing whale waifus and lolis +10.

Several elements of meta are just reality, and you have to be able to counter it. I wish armors weren’t so OP, but they are, so I have to counter them with magic/stone/eff weapons.

Here’s the best tip I have: While you can’t back out of an Aether raid, you CAN choose any one of your 5 raiding parties after viewing the opponents map, enemies, and skills. That helps me a lot.

Yeah, it sucks. But here's the thing about this mode: as far as I know, BST, Merges, and SP Costs DON'T MATTER here. You can use any units at any amount of investment and anyone can find it. I knew from the start that these two together were going to rise up again because of this one detail. Anyways, while they're just extremely good, their counters are not hard to get. Heck, one is free, Female Robin. One of the two users of Gronnwolf and one of the better candidates for Gronnraven if you want to switch that weapon out. You can just build her up with her default weapon and upgrade it with the Null Cavalry refine, Triangle Adept 2+, Bowbreaker/QR 2+, & Deflect Magic 1/2 and boom, Lynhardt counter. I saw you said like Flier Emblem, so you could use the same build for Spring Camilla (when she comes back around, if you don't have her) and do it better with the Iote's Shield seal. (I perfer Gronnraven on her, though.) The point is, plan ahead and have a counter to the thing(s) that troubles you the most. You have multiple raid slots as well, so you don't have to switch around your main team constantly. You can have a second team ready just for these two big threats without changing your main team.

Im sorry to people who like then but I agree! My Micaiah is usually able to be Reinhardt a joke,but Brave Lyn still is a pain in the rear most of the time. And I don't do super high level Arena,I'm like tier 18 at most. But I also know that not everyone likes,uses,or has a Micaiah to counter Reinhardt. And that duo is even worse when paired with a dancer!

You probably should have a tanky unit for them (not neccessarily an armor if you're against them). I usually bait/kill characters like Rein with MRobin.

That's not even a good defense strategy. If you can't deal with it you're not preparing properly for your offensive play. All you need to crush the offense on that team is one green raven+TA+bowbreaker+glimmer mage on any of your five raiding parties. You can check the map before you go in and switch to that team.

Like, if I send my 4*+8 Cecilia into that map, who doesn't even have gronnraven+, with Fjorm and some red to deal with Inigo, that's an easy win.
