Julius builds

So, he seems like a better Arvis, and curious as to how everyone plans to build him. I'm thinking full ORKO build of a DB3 and desperation set, but maaaaaybe fury, thoughts and plans? Just gonna fodder him?

Eh, he isn't really fodder worthy imo. Also, Arvis is ten times better, what are you even talking about?! I think his most optional build is double Distant Defense with Quick Riposte. Obv. Iceberg. But I'm not gonna run that set. Not to my liking.

He's effective against dragons... the most common team core in arena, so he's better than arvis in his checks, not in his quad ploy. Though with his legendary weapon he has the ability to squash nowis, which is important

Don't forget his weapon gives him effective 6 def/res against every unit that doesn't have naga or falchion.
So is that a big weakness? Not really.
Thanks to his res and color, naga needs a massive support advantage to deal with Julius.
Falchion users wouldn't have much trouble with Julius regardless of the effective damage. It only makes a close counter build kinda useless, but that's not optimal anyway.

Also his tome gives 3 res, and 38 is amazing for ploys.

His weapon with his base Attack Ploy and close defense give him 33 defense, which gives him 62 physical, melee bulk with a Close Counter set... So there's that.
