Joshua´s Build

Im running a joshua +1 with his basic kit of CD, windsweep, in addition to iceberg, reposition and defense ploy, with a DD or CD SS, trying both out.
Unfortunately im not really sold on windsweep, and neither do i like phantom speed, so i was wondering if any of you guys have tried him with Vantage or Quick riposte, cause i wanna know which one of those would be better for him.

I have been considering fury too, but im not sure its better than CD.
How has that worked for you? i dont really like renewal except on units that want to stay at full hp to trigger things.

He doesn't take damage, only from fury, so renewal to keeps him healthy. Fury to boost all his (pretty good) stats even further.

Wish I had Wrath, but QR3 also works nicely :-)
Also I merged all my Arvis' so no Def Ploy :-( I may get me a Deirdre for Spd Ploy and a Nephenee for Wrath tho

Joshua's spd is mediocre..? 35 spd is mediocre in 2k17 what did the powercreep do to us. Soon Arya will be called "a mediocre spd" too, 2k18 I call it !

I mean look at Ayra and Mia xD But also most mages in the meta are either the Reinhardt or speedy mages..
But 35 isn't terrible at all, one should use Threaten Speed/ Speed Ploy etc. imo
EDIT: Ok actually 35 isn't even bad, but just not that offensive anymore, especially with his actually mediocre Attack.

I think what he meant (and i agree) is that35 speed without ivs isn't enough to double relevant units anymore, therefore he is better running qr.
He's not gonna get doubled that easily, but he's not doubling either.

I use the Distant Counter set because Joshua as such a good res... and it's very cool with Vantage and Glacies. I don't know if it is optimal, but I really like this set

I have an extra vantage around so i may try both skulls and see which i like more.
Unfortunately I'm out of hector, so dc will have to want until the legendary banner.
