Joshua - feed or build?

My initial thoughts were to feed him for SI, with the 5 star for Close Def and the 4 Star for windsweep. Not sure to whom, but those are rare skills and I figured there are a million sword users. Heck, I have four other sword users JUST from Tempest Trials!

Then I read on his page about his unusually high BST and am wondering if I should build him. What are others doing?

You should definitely build him. A budget set would be his native close defense and moonbow, and then just about any b or c slot (he works well with most skills due to his great well-rounded utility). If you have the units to use, an optimal set would have Distant Counter, Wrath, and Defense Ploy or Threaten Defense with Reposition and either moonbow or iceberg for the special.

The only reason you should consider building him is if you're willing to give him distant counter. He is honestly the most versatile unit out there with very good defense and even better resistance. What makes him so much better than other units is his high attack along with a cool down count-1 which you dont see alot. He can basically One shot someone with his iceberg special and maintain a high amount of health at the same time.

Build definitely! For one he’s a limited unit, so if you waste him he’s gone for good. Secondly, he looks cool. Third, he has great and versatile stats and I’m considering how I’m going to use him in my main team, whether to use distant counter and distant defence to wall things, or invest in his speed with life and death 3, because he’ll still have good defences

He's worth building. With that much BST and a legendary weapon, he can really help your arena score (unless you already have lots of heavily merged high-BST units) and he is quite versatile.

Also, Close Def and Windsweep, while rare, aren't really all that useful. Close Def is a nice skill for a QR tank if you (1) don't want to run Fury and (2) don't need to run distant counter. Within that world, there are a lot of high-def, lower-res units, so you'll generally favor Distant Def anyway.

The sweep skills are just bad. You are almost always better off running Fury + Desperation on a fast unit.
