Jaffars A-Slot with the Savage Blow built?

He is ATK+/RES- which is kind of perfect I believe.

You all know the built which deals 20 to the target and 24 to units 2 tiles away.
I just need to upgrade his dagger (almost there) now but question if Life and Death 3 really is perfect for him. He will never be a defensive unit, but are there any other ideas for his A-Slot?

I always thought if I had him, I'd run Windsweep with some Fury or some general stat-buffing A-skill. However, another member here uses Close Counter/Vantage Jaffar.

I'd personally stick with Life and Death for your build, however.

I like the Windspeep idea...didn't think of it...So he never would be countered right?

Too bad, it's a B-Slot Skill and Poison Strike 3 would have to go.

If you're running the Poison Strike 3 + Double Savage Blow 3 build then LnD 3 is likely your best option.

That being said though, both PS and SB activate on player phase initiations only, so going with something like Sturdy Blow or even better Swift Sparrow could be very strong since you don't ever want him to be attacked on the enemy phase anyways. Unfortunately Jaffar's main weakness is his own shitty stats, so running LnD 3 just makes his already bad defenses even worse while making his offensive ones at least usable, especially since you're lucky enough to get the +4 atk boon on him.

But again, if you're mainly only using him for the AoE out of combat damage then his actual damage output isn't as important as just surviving the round. So up to you on which route you want to take him.

If you can get him to +5 with summoer support like I have then running Fury on him with +Res/-HP makes his stats 45/47/40/32/32, but unless you want to go all in on a defensive build I would stick to the more offensively focused ones.

Also, keep in mind if you have his weapon refined with the effect that mages (his biggest pains) will not be able to counterattack him. So you would want to be able to kill them before they're able to strike at him. I'd say Death Blow or Swift Sparrow, with me personally leaning more towards Death Blow.

His HP are high enough that he should be able to survive one Encounter if not beeing doubled. Therefore LD would be better even against mages imo. Higher Speed to potentially double and kill and high enough Speed to not beeing doubled that easy
