IVs and Promotion

Hi, I got a couple of heroes that I would like to promote one day, but their IVs might not be the best. I would like to hear your opinions on if it's worth promoting at least one of them (Nino and Kagero have the highest priority though, because they would fill holes in my teams). I'm mostly unsure about the power level of Nino without a speed boon, because I don't have access to LnD 3, which means that I would have to substitute with Darting Blow, Fury + speed seal, or just hone speed in order to get her to double most of the heroes in the game.
So now for the IVs

Nino: neutral or +def-hp
Kagero: +hp-def
Nowi: +spd-res
Effie: +atk-res

Of course it would be possible. The question was about viability of these current ones.

The Nowi isnt actually that bad.
Its +spd so thats always nice, and the -ve res whilst not ideal, is good enough for now. (she's more suited to be a physical tank anyway)

Nowi has perfect IVs, so does Effie!

Nowi and Effie have good IVs while not exactly what you should go for it's better than getting a hindering to their best stat.

The ideal banes would be HP for Nowi and speed for Effie? Since HP loss can be mitigated with a seal and speed is already a pointless stat for Effie.

Yes that's the ideal IV spread you want on Nowi and Effie, since you want her to survive a single hit from blue tomes to stay above the HP threshold for Wary fighter to stay activated. Nowi of course you want to keep her bulk untouched and HP can be fixed with a seal, speed is of course needed to stop important heroes from doubling her in the 34 and lower speed tier.

Effie and nowi have good IVs. But if you are in need of Nino / kagero I'd go with Nino.
I use a +Res -hp Nino and she still kills so many threats. I didn't had LnD 3 so I prefered to use fury and I actually love it. Thanks to her high res she can tank most blue mages which are very common (she takes almost no damages from rein). And with a hone buff + fury she reach 41 spd which is very decent.

And anyway you don't really have to wait for a character with better IVs. You can always upgrade Nino to 5* and if one day you find a better Nino, then just merge them (you'll keep all the skills for the old Nino ).
