iv's and merge question

so guys i pulled 3x L!hector and 2x S!camilla all with bad or suboptimal iv's

just asking if i level'd them up and merged then i get them later on with good iv's does the 40+2 merge with the 40+0 to become 40+3?

my hector ivs:
v1: +hp -spd
v2:-atk +hp
v3: -spd +hp

my camilla ivs:
v1:-spd +hp
v2:-spd + res

If you don't mind waiting until Feb 2019, merges of at least +1 will essentially get rid of bad banes. So your Hector will be +HP regardless.

And by waiting I mean merge away, the changes will automatically be implemented on your Hector when it arrives.

You don't need to level all the copies up. You can merge them at level one, and level the copy you plan to keep. When you get the desired IVs, you can merge it into it and all merges will be retained (even if merging the level 40 into a level 1). As long as they are the same rarity (which both units you mentioned are 5* exclusive), the merged value will be retained.

yeah but i want better iv's for my hector,i don't know how merging stats works (i read it considers boons and banes increase )

so when i get my good iv's hector and merge the 40+3 Lhector with him there will be nothing lost right?

When you merge, you lose the fodder unit and its SP. The unit you are keeping gets its current level plus the number of merges (+2 in your case) and the bonus stats (which depend on the unit and number of merges). All skills (learned or unlearned) transfer to the unit you are keeping. You would need to level the good IV unit you want to keep (either before or after merge).

Your 1st and 3th hector have got the same iv's ? Anyway, you should prioritice atk over spd everytime on armor units (specially the slower ones...).

And refering to Camilla, she should tank even with +res or +HP but +HP boon can grant a little bit surviavility than +res. But take care and check the use of that +3hp from the boon to use that Camila (specially on her desperation build-In weapon + Fury3 +Vantage3). That little diference in HP can decide so much with any % active pasive in her set.
