IVs
I'm curious how you guys feel about the Idea of having values outside of a BST determining the viability of a unit? Like what if we didn't have any IVs and every unit was a TT/GHB reward or if you could "reroll" an IV, so that any unit could be completely viable

Well, if IVs didn't exist, then people wouldn't ask so many questions like "What do I do?!" because they think they have a completely useless unit due to them having less than stellar IV sets.
Honestly, just for that reason alone, I'd be happy to take that.
If we had an IV re-roller (it'd probably cost some type of currency) then I can't see myself using it much. The only unit I refuse to use because of IVs is my Olwen. She has an attack bane and... no. No thank you.

Well, part of the fun of the game is taking what you have and making the most of it, then wrecking units with it, even if said unit isn't absolutely perfect in every way.
If we had an IV Re-roll system, then I wouldn't really feel like I accomplished much. If we did have the system, I'd have more pride in my work if I used my +Spd/-Def Ephraim over if I used an IV Re-roller to give myself the "perfect" unit that I didn't necessarily work for.
That's just me.

Well, Arena should already be about "strategy" rather than being about having the highest BST and skills with the most arena weight, so the only way to really make F2P on "equal terms" with whales would be to completely rework the Arena scoring system, because right now it sucks ass in my opinion.
With the absence of IVs, I don't think I would've thought about half of the builds I use for my units (or coming up with possible builds for other people) like using a +Spd Sanaki/Lilina to make them extremely fast rather than having them remain forever slow.
