I've been wondering

But should I give my Catria guard? I hadn't given it much thought prior but now I'm using Micaiah alongside her in Arena (stupid annoying Veronicas). And Micaiah appreciates healing Catria with Sacrifice so she can get into Desp/BA range and absolutely obliterate any DC armor in the game.

Hmmm. It would help with her bulk. You could consider her flying Lukas, just with a bit less minimalistic Def and more res and speed. I'd say guard is perfect to help keep enemues from lowering her health through specials.

Why isn't Fir rushing the cavalière and taking her out on player phase?

Cause they're often times where doing that would leave Fir completely exposed to like an annoying Effie or something else to knock her out. And that's my issue with Veronica without Micaiah to satisfyingly nuke her into oblivion, you don't want to bait her cause of the stupid uncounterable debuff/buff nonsense and if you go for the all out attack on her it leaves someone exposed to her remaining teammates.

I see. I should really consider merging a galeforcer sooner.

Anyways, with Micaiah there guard looks like a good option, just really wall everything hard. Looks to me like score isn't your first concern anyways if you're using reposition and luna.

Yeah right now I'm able to get into T20 with Fir/Catria/Micaiah and honestly I'm happy with that because I just don't like using armors so I could care less about T21 at this point. I really just don't want to fall below T18, that way I keep getting the 4 orb reward each week.

Mine has guard, and it's pretty nice in arena not having to worry about the enemy healing up with aether, or killing you with a black luna or whatever. Renewal won't usually heal you much because the battles are short.

Of course if you're super into arena 200sp isn't good enough and you'll just want to use a Chill or something to help your bonus unit do all the fighting :/

Fir/Catria/Micaiah actually has been good enough to get into T20 and given my dislike of using armors I could care less about T21. But really I just like getting the 4 orbs each week so long as I don't fall back down to T17.

Kinda wish I had tried to get more copies of her off the DD or BHB banner (focused on getting Sothe instead) now, but glad I was able to get a +atk version opposed to my first copy that was -atk. Although I'll try going for some more copies of her next time she's a focus.

Nice DesperBrash set. That's pretty good you were able to get into tier 20 with a +1 Micaiah/+5 Catria/+10 Fir and one Askr Trio. I thought having mostly +10 units if you're using lower bst units was necessary to get into 20 but I guess that was before the update required to babysit a bonus unit for kills. I was in 21 for a season but couldn't stay because I didn't invest in any Askr trios/bonus units. I dropped a 2nd time because I didn't really bother with trying to get a good score, just collected the free stuff.

You should definitely save up for more merges for Micaiah later on, she's in my opinion one of the best mages and has helped me through a lot of maps and arena. I was whaling a bit on every banner she appeared on before the last distant def ban so I managed to +10 her. Just start collecting more merges overtime to +10 her
