It’s really funny to me...

That IS acts like Armads is permentantly glued to Hector’s hand and he can’t be without it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m super excited for Hector since he’s my favorite from that series, but it’s just highly amusing to me that they refuse to give him anything else.

My only regret? Legendary Hector didn’t get a beard.

That and I have to decide if I want to keep LA!Hector or swap in L!Hector.

What do you mean? Hector doesn't use ANYTHING ELSE except Armads. Armads chose Hector, just like the Yato chose Corrin.

Tbh the fact that Hector’s primary weapon is Armads makes the fact that IS gave him Armads in every version feel very in character for him. Do you really think he’d leave home without that axe? I don’t.

Yeah, it might be annoying he’s an armored unit or has distant counter again, but I’m fine with it! Hector doesn’t seem the type to change things if they work, so I guess it feels pretty in character for him to stay a green armored unit.

Besides, if they gave him a different weapon, I expect it to be like how Christmas Chrom still had Falchion on him.

I mean.. I understand being "in character" and all, but having all three Hector's wield Armads AND have the same A skill... it's a bit disappointing. The least they could've done was, like you said, made him a sword unit but have Armads strapped to his back, because this is just.. it's not fun.

There's absolutely 0 variety when it comes to Hector, lol.
