is it worth stacking def?

have a def+hp- NY camilla +1. thinking of giving her safeguard+ def refine with double close def3 and chill atk giving her 57 def when initiated on +12 she will get from NYazura axe+ward and another fortify flier. is it worth having 69 def on her as spring camilla can handle all archers anyways. or is buildng her into offensive a better choice?

I say do what you want to do. Never have someone tell you how you should build someone. Build your units the way you want to, and if you're not sure on their performance, then you can always ask on forums, or consult a duel simulator to get a general gist.

And this is coming from one of the few that uses Henry to blast enemies with Ignis bombs.

Can i see some calcs and build then?

Bec from what the example provided hed need AT LEAST 65 def to nuke that blue mage......thats at least 10 def off by what he can get naturally

I just find it funny, really. You're showing your Henry proudly, but doing good at that map isn't much of an achievement. If anything, it shows that you're willing to go the extra mile to make your Henry seem good. And then again, that's cool.

Well, yeah... you still can't ignore real context. The fact Ike not only has a 4-Turn Aether, as well as access to breath skills AND built-in DC almost speaks for itself...and again, it's Infernal, and my Henry is only using all his tools to his advantage as well. Both are part of the same, and it's the nature of both Ike and how Owl Tomes work (massive buff-stacking synergy).

Am I proud of my Henry? Really fucking proud, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. Is Ike really good? No shit.

Unless ur trying to counter specific threats or using the team for CC that ur having a hard time in, ur usually better off stacking goads than wards on flier emblem imo.

If you want to make a bulky flier emblem and stack wards instead then....ye it fine

Depends on your team needs but a defense oriented NY!Camilla is a good route to take since yours is +def.

I run a +def myself with a Slaying Edge build. She only has 45 def during engagements but with goad stacking team, she reliably doubles and activate Bonfire on the counter.
