Is it worth evolving +atk/-def Maria?

I've only discovered this game a week ago and have a good team with a bad need of a healer.

I've got

free L!Ike (base kit, except for Swordbreaker, Reposition)
-atk/+def Grima (Pivot, Vengeful, Distant Def +2 SS, A and C slots vacant), Grima is S-tier friend both with summoner and Ike, with an Earth blessing he's got extreme bulk)
free B!Lyn (base kit, also I have another with bad IVs I haven't yet decided what to do with)

With these 3 I can corner camp almost anything, however, the thing I struggle with is keeping Grima healthy (I don't want to give him Sol because he OHKOs everything with Ignis).

I've already completed a couple of infernal GHBs (Xander and Michalis), and these weren't even the hard GHBs, yet I barely pulled them. My base kit Fjorm was mostly staying out of the way because she's just too squishy. As good as she is vs red mages, she can't player phase them, I definitely want to swap her with a healer, preferably cavalry (for B!Lyn).

But I want to wait for a decent focus, at the same time I need a 5-star healer. I have 26k feather currently. Even if I spend these, odds are, I'll be able to win more GHBs, also it's not like those 20k are wasted.

Her Panic+ weapon is described as niche, but those GHB +10 goon squads often buff themselves to heights that they overpower my units (Fjorm particularly). I don't have a Panic Ploy and I don't want to swap Grima's defensive SS.

I can pull twin Savage blow with sacrificing 5-star Camilla (doesn't mean I should, better wait for a Pain+ user). I'd probably opt for a Wrathful weapon + Live to Serve 2. Also I have Darting blow (2x Florina) and Sparrow from B!Lyn (too valuable). What would you suggest?

You could probably give Grima Aether from someone. He still has the attack to use the -50% def/res, and has the convenient heal.

If you have a LOT of patience, you could try and wait for a focus with Elise on it. She is basically the best healer in the game. Another thing is that you don't necessarily need to get healers up to 5*. As just a basic healer, they can function just well with being 4*. The VG is up, so you could earn a bunch of feathers back too.

I probably wasted around 100 orbs yesterday hoping to snipe Brave Ike's Aether (with my beginner's 5% focus) but got garbage 5 stars like Camilla and Raven, and at least useful Dorcas, (probably +HP/-def, but I can't remember as he's not lvl1).

Aether basically is a skill I won't have in months unless I pull a Brave Ike. There's a 3% on him running but I don't want to pour anymore with 70 orbs remaining and even worse chances.

Healers may be worse in arena defence, they may be unviable for those end-tier meta, but I don't care. What I need is reliable GHB and Garden farming (already did an Earth one).

EDIT: I've also pulled a good Nephenee (+atk/-res) earlier on, and with Dorcas those two are a solid foundation for another team. An infantry healer would be even more viable there. I also have a free two-star Olivia to go here, but she's too much hassle and red shards to 5-star.

Chrom is available as a red 4 star unit, therefore a bit more common and (when upgraded to 5*) great for inheriting Aether. Brave Ike has a uniqe and very strong A slot, so it can be a bit wastefull to use him for only aether inheritance.
Olivia is a very strong choice for making 4* merged char when it comes to early game progression.
5*-ing mages is not a recommendation. If you really need a healer, try to make a battle healer instead.

What do you mean by battle healer? A wrathful staff cleric like Genny? Or a chip damage Azama? Or a merged 4 star Wrys?

By the way I currently completed Narcian GHB, used 3 potions. Seemed like really unwinnable at first, but then I found a way. If Fjorm survives the baiting engagement, then she can be pulled and nobody gets attacked the following turn.
