IS isn't even trying to be subtle with the power creep anymore

First Legendary dragonbreath, first flying dragon, higher BST than average dragon DESPITE BEING A FLIER AND HAVING BETTER MOBILITY, first user of hone dragons. Myrrh isnt even power creep shes just power-"waltz into the room loudly making sure that everyone is aware as possible"

as someone who's never played an FE game, I still think shes a pretty cool character and addition to the game but the power creep is really starting to annoy me

Eh, you are aware of the fact that fliers DO NOT have less bst than infantry, right? Their better movement is handicapped by their weakness to arrows.
Its been a year of this game already, and people still think fliers have reduced bst . . . good lord.
The powercreep does exist, but not because of the reasons you stated.

The thing is is that she's more like a double edged sword. While she's the first Hone Dragons user, the first flying dragon, has super high BST, and can benefit from flier emblem and dragon emblem buffs, she has two weaknesses, and in order to stop one of those weaknesses, you have to use her S slot for Iote's Shield.

I know in the game, she was an absolute monster, but I feel like they really didn't even try with her as far as her stats are concerned.

High attack
High defense
Pretty good resistance

And let's not even talk about her breath... My lord.

Aren't stronger units better for us players? At least for people like me who can't finish all chain challenges and squad assaults. And since we don't have a meaningful PvP mode I don't see the point in being annoyed by the power creep. You can be tier 20 in arena with any unit you want, if you build it right and make a good team.

"You can be tier 20 in arena with any unit you want, if you build it right and make a good team."

Yeah, basically saying "Lon'Qu can be good if you sacrifice enough of yourself to Satan." Yes, a lot of units can be good, but there are units BETTER than others, and units that are just flat-out not worth the time.

It's quite silly, really. Everyone and their grandmother was talking about how annoying it was to constantly see Horse Emblem in arena, yet Intelligent Systems releases a Hone Dragon with high BST, high attack, defense, good resistance, and a legendary breath.

Armor Emblem + Dragon Emblem is probably gonna be the main teams people will see in Arena now, and it's annoying enough trying to kill some dragons without the added +6 Attack/Speed buff.

Every game has power creep or people would stop playing. Are you using Oliver at all?
If you're going to complain about power creep please have fun using Oliver to beat high level content, he is a very new unit, but is not power creeped, so will be a good example of how you would like new units to come out in the future.

...That's not necessarily the same.

Oliver is ugly as all hell, which is the main reason I haven't even picked him up.

He is pretty costly to make effective, and not worth the time since I have other units I'm building up, and I already have Reinhardt and Micaiah.

Sorry, but not gonna waste time building a unit when I have other units I actually like.

P.S. Not everyone likes Oliver.

I agree that powercreep is, of course, happening. And Myrrh does indeed have the first legendary breath weapon. People have already mentioned that fliers don't have lower BST than infantry, and Myrrh does have somewhat of an excuse for her high BST, which is her status as a trainee unit. This is the same concept as Donnel having 162 BST despite being an ordinary infantry unit (although units like Ayra have 164 BST now - there's your powercreep) and Amelia having 173 BST when the previous Armor BST was 169. Trainees get 4 extra BST than the norm. So, Myrrh comes in at 4 BST higher than the 163 BST dragons. Actually, I was kind of surprised she didn't have 170 BST, seeing as the Christmas units were inexplicably 174/5 BST, despite not being trainee units. But, Myrrh's legendary weapon does make up some of the difference. So, powercreep is definitely a thing, Myrrh isn't the best example of it, outside of her amazing weapon.
