Inheritable DC weapons?

Do you think we'll ever have inheritable DC weapons in Heroes? I mean weapons that have DC built into it and can be put on any unit but are weaker than exclusive weapons like Ragnell or Gradivus.
We could have a DC weapon for each color.

Hand Axe
Javelin
Levin Sword or Wind Brand. Or if those two weapons are exclusive, the Kodachi from Fates will do.

Do you think it'll ever happen? If so, who do you think will hold it? I think Charlotte (her regular form, not her Bridal form) will hold the Hand Axe, Silas would hold the javelin, and many characters could hold the DC sword.

I kinda hope not. Distant Counter is, in a way, one of my least favorite effects in the game. While it is extremely useful, it's just soo...... boring...?

agreed, if we ever do get the weapons you mentioned as inheritable weapons, they'll probably just be silver weapons and their range would be 2 instead of 1 so they can only counter and attack at a range

yeah but essentially colored. in fates, they had the same mechanic on some weapons. the spear and tomahawk could only attack and counterattack at a range of 2. essentially it was exclusively a ranged weapon.

if they are released as inheritable weapons, it would probably end up like that while prf versions of the weapons like dorcas' stout tomahawk would have 1-2 range

I don't know about the future, but Ragnell, Gradivus, Alondite...these are all 16-mt weapons, so they're exclusive. I don't know what the future brings; I think IS will likely try to continue to get people spending for Hector. For me, the DC meta is wearying enough as it is, although I understand perfectly why it's so effective.

The one inheritable DC weapon we currently have is lightning breath, which comes with one caveat: it's only 12 mt. But it's refinable, so arguably it trades 4mt for 3spd or 4 to a defensive stat.

Don’t think so, as DC weapons are extremely powerful Weapons, and if u can inherit DC weapons that means you can have an additional A slot. Which is far too strong.
Look at Hector for comparison: his Armads has QR, and the result free B slot either lets him transform into someone who can double everyone with wary fighter and QR seal, or just smash everyone with vantage before they can hit him.
