Imitation Kliff...except possibly even better?!
I'm not sure if this has occurred to anybody. Odin can actually play like a slow Kliff with some distinct advantages:
- he can exploit atk ploy (and if he doesn't want to ploy, his teammate can ploy for him, as is the case with Kliff)
- he hits a heck of a lot harder. Like, around 20atk harder. I'm not exaggerating.
- thanks to hitting a lot harder, he can pick pretty much whatever special he wants
Odin's Grimoire
(positioning assist)
(many choices of special possible: moonbow, iceberg, aether, maybe even noontime or sol because blade tomes hit so hard with full +6 buffs. Of course, where it's REALLY at is....blue flame XDDDD)
Fortress def/res
Def/res link unless his teammate is carrying it, in which case probably guard. Special spiral can also be considered, especially with aether.
Spd smoke, atk smoke, or close guard, or whatever you want
Flashing blade (unless supported by infantry flash) or another smoke or even something as basic as spd+3
IVs: +res if Odin wants to do the ploying himself (atk and spd ploy in C and S), otherwise +spd. -HP, or -atk if you want to be funny and cute or a showoff. I'm going to assume +spd.
With links activated:
40(+24)/41/37/37 which is very close to neutral Kliff's 47/42/39/39, also with prf effect and fortress def/res. The main difference is the atk and the fact that Odin will gladly atk smoke (or ploy) his opponents while Kliff wouldn't want to do that, so if we factor that in Odin's favour, he's up to like 42/42 or 44/44 defenses.
Of course, the main disadvantage is that someone on the team gives up a turn to activate the PoWeR OvErWeLmIIIIIIIIING but it might be worth it, especially in GC where there are usually some positioning assists being used aggressively anyways.
