Imagine we could trade our heroes. Post your hero target and what can you offer in exchange and see if someone would trade. Even if someone offer X, people can still demand Y. You also can ask for certain IV's if you want.
I want a Saber/Fjorm. I can offer a B!Roy, Luke, LA Roy, Leo or Ishtar
We've all imagined it...but I personally wouldn't like it. It trivialises a fundamental aspcect of working hard to get what you want. I'm sure a lot of us can agree it feels really good to get the characters we've want after having had saved up a few, and especially when you're F2P.
Heroes can be seen as one of those things that you can't really put a price tag on. There's a reason we get so little by sending them away, while orbs are more costly.
Nogitsune your definitely right, summoning a hero you really want is more satisfying when you used the orbs you worked hard to get. Summoning by buying orbs isn't bad but it doesn't give that one of a-kind-feeling when you summon them with a free summon or 5-20 orbs you grinded so hard for.
Im not saying this could be added to the game, maybe I wrote it poorly or maybe you didnt read it. I just want you to I-MA-GI-NE and this is already added.

This topic has been discussed before. A main reason why it will never happen is because anyone can just make alts and trade themselves. Heck, if trading did come out for feh and there were no restrictions, many people including myself would just trade ourselves to +10 merge the units we want.
