I have like 20000 feathers but im not sure who should I upgrade to 5*... i have more than 5* 60 heroes and actually I dont use more than 15-20 of them. I just upgraded the others for collectionism or because I love them or they had perfect IVs.
Actually, Im not sure who should I upgrade since this moment:
-Alfonse, Sharena, Anna: for quests mainly. I never had problems with their quests, but I guess It would be easier if they are 5* and have their respective legendary weapons.
-Units I would like to have at 5*: Lloyd, Berkut, Odin, Oliver, Oscar, Boey, Navarre Catria... all with perfect IVs (but I really dont need them)
-Merge: with the heroes I have the possible candidates are:
4* Clair (x2) Already have a 5* level 40+1 Clair. I dont use her so much and have other 5* lance pegasus as Shanna, Tana, Valter... However, she has my 3th biggest BST of all my units (193 with Fury 3 and reinforced weapon) and perfect IVs reaching 43 speed withoug any seal or buff. I have 2, so I could merge her to level 40+3
4* Shanna: as I said I have a 5* Shanna with perfect IVs too but I think my Clair is clearly superior to my Shanna. But Shanna is my favorite character from Fire Emblem 6...
4* Zephiel (x2): already have my 5* Zephiel with Distant Counter and reinforced Ecksachs. He is one of my best armored units and an incredible magic and physic tank. I could merge him to level 40+2 with the two 4* Zephiel I have at this moment.
4* Narcian. I have my 5* Narcian and i love him. I use him as an anti-blue units hero. With fliers buffs and Fury 3 (and support with Valter) he reaches amazing stats. I know he is so underrated and tehre are better units but I love using him and his personality.
4* Lyon. My favorite FE is FE8 and I LOVE LYON. His default build (with TA and swordbreaker) is just amazing and I love raven builds so... merging him could help. The main problem I have is already have other 3 TA + red raventome users: Sanaki, Sophia and Lilina...
Others posibilites to merge: Arvis, Ursula, Marissa, RobinF, Gerome, Xander (x2), Effie.
I would like to mention my Shanna is actually pretty similar to my 5* Clair 40+1:
With Fury 3 (Shanna is level 40, Clair is level 40+1) I compared them:
Shanna has higher SPD (1 difference point), DEF (1 difference point), HP (1 differnce point), same ATK and lower resistence...
Shanna 40: 44/47/44/25/32 (with Slaying Lance + Speed)
Clair 40+1: 43/47/43/24/36 (with Silver Lance + Attack)
In my opinion, upgrading the Askr trio should be a priority. They will always be useful (in a way or another, thanks Sharena :[ ), for quests, or for arena battles. Alfonse is hard to use but can be really good with the Desper'Assault set, Anna is really fast and her weapon is fun to use, and Sharena can work well ... I guess (just depends on what you want her to do, mine has Fury + Lancebreaker but Swordbreaker or Renewal should be good choices).
Also Clair is a very good character so upgrade Clair
