I'm looking for 3.0 very soon

All they showed us is four weapon refines. I'm sure there's more.

It might be that the update is somewhat delayed. If it came with the refines and new hero banner (somewhere next week), we would have heared something by now.

I expect a Feh channel announcement at least a week before 3.0

Hmm, it's hard to find info.
If I'm seeing all this correctly, then feh channel announcement was early november (around the 5th) and the 2.0 update was the 28th.
Dunno if there was a small update inbetween that, don't think so though.

Which means that it's possible we'll get a confirmed date in the next few days or with the update.

There are new heroes planned for the 9th, so that is likely a (small) update.

As a footnote, my opinion on the new weapons:
Saber: should be interesting. Who would have thought he would get one? I feel bad for everyone who foddered though
Shanna: thanks for making me regret sending them all to the library regardless of IV. I thought there are too many good lance fliers to go for her when she gives us desperation. She was a welcome pull even without the refine. Can they quit ignoring guys like Henry or Jakob? Anyways, the weapon probably grants atk+4/spd+4 in some way and maintains slaying effect plus some special effect on the refine
Bartre: but he was fine with the hammer and I was content to make him an AA check. This better be good enough to make him worth 5* merging. .... Possibly panic ploy or other HP-based ability on the effect refine because G duel?
Florina: good candidate, was called for. I wonder what she'll get.

So happen I didn't buckle down and foddered Saber yet. Got a potential +3 waiting with decent IV
He should be able to use quite a few types of refines with his stats. Full combat, support , offence, defence. You name it.

Shanna is the one I'm least interested in. Decent unit everone foddered away. A unit with good speed and workable mixed bulk. So I think she's fine with a simple refine. Or maybe a spear Sol Katti

Bartre. I fully expect him to have a weapon like Nephenee. Dauntless lance - Axe of Virility.
Plus it would work off his main normal weapon.
I'm thinking as refine either +4 atk/def when attacked or preventing doubles from skills (that one was datamined as skill text)

Florina, Should be fun. She's not a great unit, but if the refine could either fix her damage or speed, it could work.
Or just go for full defence

Catria and the other White wings are well overdue... Especially Catria though since the @*$&# Sumia Powercrept her the hardest...

Shigure's stat spread is different enough to offer room for others to excel along with him. Sumia vs Catria you have -1 Atk for +5 Spd that is all They even both have the same superboon/banes.

At least Saber will finally be spotted on a future banner. Hopefully he's getting a decent upgrade...even though I never encountered him during my summons.

As for the other three:
* I hope Florina's new prf redeems her. I hate having to send her home.
* I hope Shanna's is good too.
* No opinion on Bartre.

Effie and Fae for sure! I feel like they have only been doing “fodder refinery” lately, and of course the 5* ones they do I don’t have, like Tana and Innes. I normally love refinery but the last 3 have been rough on me personally.
