I'm an idiot.

Ever realise after you've fodder someone you could've been more efficient with the skills? I gave 1 of the 2 Brave Ikes I got on the legendary banner to Nowi for Steady Breath and thought at the time 'if only I could give her ether too'. I've now noticed I still have the Black Knight from the starter pack so I could've given Nowi his Steady Stance, a Luna then Steady Breath and Aether from Ike. Now it'll cost me 20,000 feathers to promote a Chrom. Please tell me I'm not the only fool?

I'm sure you're not the only one. Many people don't even realize the opportunities they have as far as splitting the fodder, so they end up getting less for their buck instead of actually getting the best they could get.

If you care about keeping limited edition units, then you shouldnt feel too bad. What you described is what i did to build my Fae, but if you planned on merging BK later you kinda dug yourself into a hole.

I'm one other idiot to do this, maybe a little dumber. Foddering off some ghb units, but more specifically having foddered/sent home a Karel, Olwen, Eldigan, and Lyn, all of which I had only summoned one of. Kinda regretting giving Grima Warding Breath and still keeping Vengeful Fighter...

BK is a good limited unit though. I'd say it's worth keeping him over 20k feathers.

I was once mad about not giving my Takumi Death Blow and QR 3 from Klein when I inherited Brave Bow+ onto him. Now it doesn't even matter because Takumi is irrelevant.

I still have the Black Knight from the TT way back when. I bought the started pack a while ago for the cheap orbs (can't remember who I was summoning for but I think I got whoever it was) and have no plans on merging him.

Then, no harm, no foul. You will put the combo of SB+Aether on another unit in the future, at which point you can fodder your 4* BK first.

Somewhere down the road, you'll save the 20k feathers.

I didn't fodder off BK, as I have some hope that these units will be further mergeable in the future.

I accidentally put Iceberg on my Brave Ike because I didn't realize who I was giving the skill to. I wasted a perfectly good Niles or Shanna for that. It'd really sting if it were actually Shanna since I'm painfully low on her atm.

i actually foddering my spare brave ike to my +1 bk to get both aether and steady breath without having to lose a 4 star bk.
