Ike as fodder

Thought I was done with the legendary banner but pulled an Ike on my last summon!

A +res -atk Ike though.

For skill inheritance, is he more valuable for Aether or Heavy Blade, and who are some good candidates?

Or is he worth keeping? I have no other Ike but I have plenty of decent swordsman.

Ike is better to use for HB3. Promote a Chrom if you need Aether.

Heavy Blade is a lot rarer than Aether, so I'd say Heavy Blade is the better skill inheritance ability.

Heavy Blade is the more rare skill, but also harder to use effectively. I don't think there's anything wrong with foddering for either skill, just depends on your needs.

I'd say keep him, a +res can be built well as a mage tank.

If you really want to fodder take Heavy Blade, nobody else can donate it. But really a +Res can be used. There's one of those meme builds "Magic Ike" I've seen used with great success.
