Ike +Atk -Spd or +Spd -Atk Arrrg

I got two ikes and i cant figure out what to do. they both have inverted offensive ivs..

+spd - Atk is decent for QR bait tank as i can boost his spd more to not get doubled

Or I can try to make a one shot Aether build with the +Atk - Spd using Quick Pulse and Infantry Pulse, more tricky set up but could be cool.

I kind of want to merge but Warding breath is pretty sweet fodder hmmm. Really wish i could afford to whale him to +10 Radiant Dawn was my fave game!

+atk -spd, LIke's speed is pretty mediocre, and atk is LIke's most important stat imo.

Its just that he wants higher speed for optimal Quick Riposte. Otherwise he gets doubled while at full charge all the time and misses the point of Warding and R Aether. I can pair him with B Lucina w Hone Spd Seal to bring his spd to 37 or use double Pulse one shot set up... Lot of big decisions before pulling the trigger on this rare unit, frustrating...

Not sure why you say that. SB and WB users THRIVE on doubling and being doubled. First turn QR he'll fully charge Radiant Aether and bomb the attacking unit if he's doubled. That doesn't happen if he only gets hit once.

You could always wait a bit with them. I mean people are probably going to pick VL!Ike to be the voting hero that everyone gets for free. Then you can use a neutral IV one, Merge him to +2 if you really wanted or make your decision then because you'll have used both and seen which one suits your playstyle.
