If you don't want to play the game, just leave. Even if 3.0 is amazing, you'll probably feel the same way a few months after 3.0, so if you hate the game as it is, just don't play it. It's sad to know a fellow feh player might leave the game, but if you hate the game, I'd leave now and spare yourself further inevitable frustration.

I think that 3.0 will have all the hype that 2.0 did, and then it'll fade away by the middle of the story, again, just like 2.0. I'd stay. For me, FEH isn't really a big part of my day. I'll log on, maybe train some units, spend some time in the arena, do Tempest Trails, or summon. I usually spend at most 2 hours on there. I won't say it's the perfect time killer. But most Nintendo fans agree that things like Pokémon Go, AC: Pocket Camp, and Mario Run haven't been the best Nintendo Mobile Games. Fire Emblem Heroes on the other hand, will always continue, almost indefinitely, until they have to make alts for all the characters, which, as we all know, could take them maybe 15-20 years to do. I wouldn't quit now, as FEH will continue to grow in popularity, IMO
