Ideas for making GC more time zone friendly?

If I don't play as soon as the battle starts (and I don't) or I don't play every 7-8 hours (which I don't want to), I lose potential score. I regularly get into top 3, or occasionally I'll miss by less than 10k points (and I normally play upper infernal), so a few lances (not restoring crests, lances) are the difference.

Moreover, if I don't watch the ranking until the last moments, I tend to risk getting rank 3 sniped because making such a large lead that I can more or less guarantee not getting sniped costs too much stamina to do three times. Battles finish later in my time zone than I want to be on my tablet except on a Skype call with someone dear.

Some would argue it's just a convenience issue and my case is not weighty enough, but I really don't see why players should have a significant edge for being in the right time zone. I have also heard said that mobile games should be playable at a player's leisure - when it conveniences them. Well, in any case, it's an online game. Why shouldn't its schedule be flexible?

Could we maybe have something like aether raids aether regeneration? Once every 24h. And they can provide more restoring crests if they feel it's good for the game.

As for the rank thing, I'm really not sure what to suggest. Set thresholds using median figures from all outrealms so that we basically get a ranking system resembling that of AR or AA? For example, if the median rank 3 score for all armies in all outrealms is 140 000, then everyone who reaches 140 000 points gets 3000 feathers for contribution to army. Or to make it more solid for people who need to sleep or work or do anything other than FEH for the last 4 hours of each battle, use the median figure from last month's GC. That way people competing for rank 3 (or 10) won't inflate the score too much.

I don't really know how it works, but I thought in GC, you're only competing against a small % of FEH players and that you basically enter a queue that assigns you to who you will play with/against when signing up.

It's not outrageous to suggest that this should change and be localized instead so that everyone on the same timezone has the same advantages and disadvantages.

As far as maximizing score and 8 hours, auto battle lasts about 3 minutes and only needs your phone to stay awake, so that's always an option to help you maximize your score.

Have you tried autobattling upper infernal?

But your idea about outrealms dividing by time zone seems good. I don't think it would be enough though because some are available to play at the most relevant hours and others are not; it's not just time zone but individual schedule
