Idea for a new gamemode

A permanent mode where you can grind infinitely, it would cost stamina, and the reward would be random depending on how many points you got in that run. The rewards can be feathers, refining stones, sacred coints and some orbs if you get lucky, periodically you have to archieve some objectives to get a combat manual for a specific character, or the character itself.
The mode that i have in mind would be that you have to defend a group of character that is running away from the enemy, the character that are running have no weapon, and they can only defend, you get points based on how many hp the "runners" have left, the character that died and the number of enemies defeated.
You can do this mode infinetely as the generated maps and pursuers will be randomized, but with periodic specific objectives, as use only swords or only mages for example, or even use chracters from a defined set of games like PoR and RD.
What do you think about my idea?

Definitely like the idea of "protect the civilians." Doubt they would be that generous with the rewards though.

I feel like the small maps might be a problem for this but I guess with the GC type maps it could work. sounds fun!

I like it. Having the extra support units with no weapons sounds interesting. I have a question though, if one of the attackers had both an ally and a defender in range would they always have preference to attack the defender over your ally?

I'd kinda like to see a new mode or special map that only allows unblessed units to participate, but without giving us the ability to unbless our already blessed units.
