An idea for a Catria build. Thoughts and suggestions?

So I just pulled a neutral 5* star Catria from the Winter banner. Intsead of being depressed about my broken pity rate I've decided to build her! I noticed she has some decent DEF so I thought I could make her into a poor man's Tana or Subaki. The set I was thinking about was defense refined slaying lance fury+renewal w/bonfire as her special. What do you guys think? I was also thinking about using fotress defense and QP so she'll play kind of like a flying Lukas but weaker. Any suggestions on other ways to build her? I'd love to hear some feedback!

catria does have 34 base speed so it wouldnt be a horrible idea to invest in it, with just fury and a speed refine she can reach 40 speed and with hone/goad fliers that can be brought up to a point where she will double alot of units, especially with the speed +3 seal, then you could add bonfire with hit and run, or moonbow with desperation, so that way, as long as she doubles, she will get a special off

Being available at 3*, Catria is a pretty good candidate for 4*+10 treatment, which gives you roughly the equivalent of a 5*+5. Unless you have any intention of investing past 5*+5 on her (I know I don't) I would just merge into a +Spd Catria that's at least 4*+5 to get the same stats you would have on a 5* unmerged with optimal IVs.

Whether you choose to give her Bonfire or stick to Luna is up to you, but I don't think it's worth giving up 6 Atk for an extra 2 Def, when comparing Fury and Fortress Defense. With base 34 Spd and 29 Def refining for Spd just makes more sense, since she'll have enough to double just about everything after flier buffs, while still maintaining a decent bulk.

I looked again and it appears you're right. Strange, I could have sworn I've gotten her at 3* but I guess I was mistaken. I suppose it would explain why I only have her at 4*+7 after all this time.

I actually have a +Def -Spd Catria in my flier Emblem team. With a slaying lance refined for defense she hits 36 without the help of a seal, and the armored blow she comes with brings that up to 42 while initiating. I am still mostly playing around with ideas for her, but with that high defense she does the drag back idea well while still being able to counter attack. Rather than bonfire, which certainly has higher damage, I put moonbow on her since it seems to go well with a slaying lance and triggers practically every attack.
