An Idea for Arena Micaiah

So I have an extra Owain and am now considering giving her Blue Flame. Originally I had just remember having extra Young Ike with Aether but then I remembered Blue Flame and it having the same SP as Aether but with the cooldown of Iceberg.

Which leads me to the fact that after using her in Arena for a while, her special is honestly inconsequential. Majority of the time, especially with BA/Desp which is rather consistent to achieve thanks to Sacrifice, she's likely killing whatever she attacks regardless of if her special triggers. Especially with how armors are prevalent in Arena, she rarely needs her special to out them. Like I haven't seen a Hector that hasn't just dropped to her if she hits twice (whether from BA or naturally doubling) and has Desperation active. However, at the same time because of Sacrifice to support her teammates it's not uncommon for her to be next to any ally when she attacks.

Again this is all in the context of Arena and I largely feel her Special damage is irrelevant. But I'm starting to think Blue Flame might not be a bad idea for her in Arena. So what are others thoughts on this?

If we're talking about Arena, then wouldn't Aether be fine? That way you'd still have an Owain, and if you want to fodder Blue Flame, then you can give it to someone that can actually use it.

I have 2 Owain atm, and I'll be honest I'm not much of a fan of him to begin with. And part of the reason I even have 2 of him is I was trying for Kliff and twice had a circle with no blues and that's when the Owains showed up.

True, but again, wouldn't something like Aether do just fine? If her Special doesn't matter, then something like Blue Flame is better suited to someone that can actually utilize the skill its full potential, rather than someone who doesn't even need the skill.

At this point, it's the same as giving a Fjorm Distant Counter.

Owain's only purpose is Blue Flame fodder.

With a player phase build I don't like it. She wants to be free to move. Iceberg hits almost as hard (especially as you add merges and ally support), or if you want points, just go for aether. Give blue flame to dancing Elincia maybe. It's for units who lack stats to use to scale their specials off of.
