I woke up this morning to a hot redhead with no pants

I hope you all have the same luck.

She's +Def/-HP, which is actually a pretty decent IV set. The question is, do I give Hone Fliers to maybe Cherche or do I incorporate her into my Flier team in place of Tana?

Right now I have:

Palla: 4 * merge project with ideal IVs
Cherche: 4*+6 with ideal IVs
Tana: -HP/+Res
Summer Corrin: -HP/+Def

I only have 2 4 star Cordelias, and their IVs are trash, so she's out of the question.

I was expecting it would be a storytime with Cav about meeting an actual hot redhead. Can't say I'm dissapointed tho.

Anyway, I have the exact same IV on her and just gave her death blow to maximize attack. I don't want to say that she's useless, because she's not, but she only rarely actually fights when she's in my flier team (Elincia, Hinoka, Minerva, Corrin). Having said that she's a great support thanks to hone fliers and reposition, so she definitely earns her spot in a team and when the time comes, she usually kills what I need her to kill.

For the purposes of your team, she can only potentially replace Tana because of their same weapon type. You could argue that Tana with hone fliers would be stronger, but I'm usually against sacrificing 5* units that you have only 1 copy of. I honestly don't know...

Yeah, you're mirroring a lot of the back and forth I'm having. I get that Cordelia or Tana with Speed Boons are more optimal, but with the IV sets I have on everyone there's nobody that realistically is pulling off a Quadlance build. And irregardless, Hone Fliers would have to be on someone else on the team to pull it off. Cherche seems ideal since she doesn't make use of the speed buff. Also, Palla would get kicked to the curb the second I pulled an Elincia whereas Cherche and Minerva are both amazing.

But at the end of the day, I always struggle sacrificing single copies of 5 star units. I'm the same way with my one Amelia even though Armor March would be more ideal on Black Knight.

Maybe just keep her low investment for use in Tana's place for now, and then if you do draw an Elincia later on down the road you can sacrifice her then.

It's an option for sure. Though I think even if I got Elincia, wouldn't Cherche be the optimal wielder of it given the speed half of Hone Fliers is of no real benefit to her?

Dude, Tana is the best flier, with elincia as a second.
No way in hell should you replace her with hinoka.
Just give hone fliers to somebody else.

Yeah I know what you're saying, although part of the issue is if say I move Hone Fliers to Cherche and in a couple months they bring the Spring Banner back and I pull a Camilla. Then I have to burn Cherche to get Hone Fliers onto someone else since Camilla is more ideal. This is one of the reasons I kind of lean toward keeping Hinoka for now because it's not like she's *that* much worse than Tana.

The alternative would be to move it to Tana who is more "future proof" even though she benefits more from it than Cherche.

mmm, in that case i would keep hinoka around for a while.
Tana can use hone fliers as mine certainly does, but that may very well be cause:
A) i also have an elincia who can REALLY use the hone, and
B) i pulled two hinokas, so elincia got the other hone.

If you arent sure what to do, i suggest not doing anything. Making a choice based on too limited info can backfire severely.

My friend has pulled two of her, and keeps insisting he's going to use them as L&D fodder as opposed to using her. It makes me so sad.
