I think there should be some sort of trading system in FEH
I think that there should some sort of Pokémon-esque trading system of units in Fire Emblem Heroes. It could be something you could do between friends making the whole friends thing more useful than just 5 hero feathers or a team member in the voting gauntlet. I've always thought they should add something like this and I think it could be really possible. I'd like to know your thoughts on this feature and if you'd like to see it in.
I dunno, I probably just want this because I've been summoning for Brave Ephraim forever on my main account and just got him after two summons on my second account that I barely use.

Well if they introduced trading, pretty much anyone would be able to just start 43 Alt accounts and get +10 versions of every CYL Hero, and more for Steady Breath, Swift Sparrow, DB4, etc. fodder. Whales would get probably pretty mad, and honestly IS would lose a lot of money on orb sales.
Even if there are ways to impose some limits on this it would require some pretty serious limitations that would ruin it for a lot of people. Giving trades a loooong cooldown (like months in between) and a required price of feathers or orbs or a new type of currency per trade (to be paid by both sides) sounds like something IS would require.

I’ve been telling this to my friends for months!! My bf got Legendary Marth on his iPad and phone and I got nothing but reinhardts and Lene *sigh* if there was something like that it’d be great!! An even more random idea would be having like a little spot you can put up heroes and we could sell them for orbs, feathers or something like that (or just ask to trade with a certain unit).
Lmao but I’ve always told my friends I’d feel like that would feel like human trafficking xD

Trading would be a little bit too broken. I'm not going to state the obvious "install, trade, delete, reinstall..." process. (Without a doubt IS is going to prevent that.) Nor' am I going to say there should be limitations. I say a vehement "no" to trading because many people have secondary accounts they regularly play on--some even since launch! And thus a limitation system won't work because if you've played on your main and secondary account for a long time, there would practically be no limitations FOR YOU, but for newer accounts. Being able to trade units from your secondary account to your main would be totally unfair for us people that have been playing from the start but didn't make a second account.

DeNA learned from Blood Brothers. Most unique and rare unit pulls were redone with free currency until people had all the 5* equivalent in that game. Nobody bought premium currency while everyone had overpowered units and like the Pokemon system, rares got sniped constantly. A trading system would kill the game almost instantly. It sucks you didn't pull what you wanted, but there is always the buy more orbs option or be happy with what you got. Id rather have no trade system and still have a fun and challenging game in a year rather than a game that has barely any updates or content.
