I know this is asked a lot...
Should I switch a freshly rerolled alt account to my main account? I'm looking for some advice, this will probably be a long post.
I've been playing my main account for abt 2 months, and have spent abt $180 on the game. I have 270 heroes, and I've fed quite a few for SI. My notable 5star heroes with favorable IVs are:
+spd/-hp Nino
+spd/-def Nowi
+spd/-def Azura
+atk/-def Effie
+atk/-spd Cherche
+spd/-def Innes
I have several other decent heroes with suboptimal IVs, like neutral IV Cordelia, Reindhardt, Tharja, Celica, Ephraim etc. All in All it's not too good seeing as how I rolled around 800 orbs five or take.
Frustrated, I rerolled an account on another device. I wanted to start with one of the new characters, either Tana or Amelia, and build a team around their
relevant type. After some time, I got this:
+def/-res Amelia
+atk/-def Effie (4 star)
+atk/-def Lilina (4 star)
+atk/-def Julia
+spd/-res Abel (4 star)
So, what's everyone's advice? Should I take the new account with these starters as my main? It'd be $180 wasted on the first account, but I have all the base content to clear. **editted**
On the other hand, my current main has 75+ stamina potions and dueling swords, has spent about 80,000 feathers on upgrades and SI, has 60,000 feathers saved, has all the seals from the last two months, and has many heroes for good coverage over arena and event bonus units.
What would you do? And thanks for reading!

I say keep your main account because 1.) you spent good chunk of money (about 3 full priced games) and would be a waste to give it up and 2.) It seems like you got pretty far in the game with a decent amount of good 5* units and again it'll be a shame to lose all that progress
To be fair, I can understand not rolling your favorite units or not getting enough "good" units on your main account so as a compromise I suggest to play both accounts if you have enough time to invest. That way you'll have variety of units to use and more chances to get the units you want albeit on different accounts.
Now if you really don't like the units you have now and just want a fresh start and don't mind your losses then I say go ahead and start a new account. Because at the end of the day you should just have fun with the game.

I was in the same position as you a few weeks ago, and I had 5*s I didn't like and had bad IV's. I didn't spend any money but it took a long time to accumulate orbs and get the 5*s I had. But I was patient and pulled Ike recently, happy now.
Also, some1random makes a good point in that you have spent a decent amount of money and to start a new account would kinda be like wasting that money.
Maybe you can start a new account on another device and see how that goes. Then you can switch accounts if you like your units there better.

FEH is a game of progressing and odds.
You should keep your main account, it has a better progression. Even if the odds weren't what you expected, it's still fine imo. Plus, having a new account with good starting odds don't mean it will be better for you. While your stock of Feathers on your main account can balance a bad flow of odds on it.
Many other arguments but in brief, keep your main.
Add me in the game if you want, I've started the game 2 months ago too, with a very good start (mostly thanks to the hero fest banner when I started), but then my luck got worse and worse, but hey, I still manage to do quite well in the game as a F2P ^^

I mean, that's a shit ton of money and time spent. You're even better-established than I am in the game, with all those feathers and *5s.
IN THE END
as a guy said, the game is about the fun of it. It's your money, your time, and ultimately you know what it was all worth. I've ran into a similiar situation about two months ago, but ended up taking up my "main" account and just turning it around completely and becoming a much better player in it. Me, personally? I'm not a fan for restarting. Feels like "cheating", in a way.

Thanks for your replys everyone. So I will definitely keep both accounts, I have my main on my phone, which I carry around with me, and my alt on my iPad at home. I will occasionally spend money if I have the budget for it, so the "main" account would be the one on my phone that I might spend money on.
You all make good points, but I decided to play the second account to finish the normal story + normal paralogues and roll to see what I get. I managed to roll:
-spd/ +res Azura
-spd/ +hp Delthea
+spd/ -hp Ike
+def/-res Draug (4star)
5gold/32 rolls, and all the golds are clutch heroes. I think I will end up switching the accounts, making the new my main for now, but if I don't get anything noteable after finishing up the story/paralogues on lunatic, I might switch back.
By the way: the Starter Support Banner (the one with Ike/Julia/Genny/Ninian) still has six days left on my alt account. It looks like if you started an account during the starter bonus period, the banner's duration counts down from that time.
