Idk, I just think it would suit the banner more. I can't remember what the music that's going to be played is or that was on the banner trailer, but I definitely don't remember it from Fates. Past Below made a way bigger impact on me. Just listen for yourselves.

Idk, that's just my silly opinion. I like most if not all of Fates music, but the music they're using for the Adrift banner/maps I'm not as familiar with.
The ost playing in the trailer was definitly from fates.

The entire theme of the banner is that it's a disturbing, creepy and wrong 'perfect world' and the music reflects that.
But yeah, if there's anything that's Fates does amazingly, it's the music
Ehh, I don't think I can agree on either account (Final boss themes in Fates, Divine Decree in Awakening, Sacrifice And the Saint/Twilights of the Gods, etc XD)
Not to mention that this banner is meant to be a creepy setting, so something so happy is kinda offputting to the tone.
I don't see Past Below as happy, I see it more as mysterious and mystical. It's this new world that you've never explored (Valla) and you need to unlock the past to it.
But I do understand the boss theme of Valla is probably better with the "perfect world" thing going on. This is just my weird opinon
