I just witnessed my student stop being a shitter.

He cleared an infernal ghb map, using a theme team, with no skill inheritance, and no merges, on his F2P account where the only rolling he does is free rolls.

This man has been playing for less than a year and has made more progress in this game than anyone else I know. He spent the past four hours trying to work out a solution, and he did, this is the last screenshot he took before clearing the map, says a video of how he did it is coming in a bit. He's a true fan, figuring out how to win with what he's got instead of following guides or throwing 5+10's with maxed kits, no, hes a true player.

As if that's the only legitimate way to play the game? I don't agree with using guides either, but the point of a game isn't necessarily to brute force through without considering options such as SI which can increase efficiency or elegance considerably. Burning more energy does not automatically make something better.

And even if everything I said above proves false, I don't think you're speaking well of yourself when you criticized aether raids because each battle is a one-shot deal and we only get 13-16 battles a season.

I beat the Infernal Julius map awhile back with red tome emblem so I can relate to using SI to benefit you. Playing without SI I find incredibly boring

1st part, being able to solve problems without needing outside help by way of constant refinement of strategy is what the franchise is all about. Anyone can go make a ball of stats and steamroll through every challenge the game has, but thats not in the spirit of Kaga. Would you rather have a hand carved statue that the artist spent hundreds of hours carefully chiseling away at, or some cheap 3d printed dollar store cupid statue? Time and effort > fast and cheap

I've won provincial competitions in classical music before; I know about time and effort. Realizing one's full potential requires time and effort, but time and effort do not automatically make something good. Otherwise nobody would ever say something like "he's trying too hard" when something isn't good.

Hes saying just because you spent 5 hours straightening your hair that doesn't make it look great. it's what you spend doing with your time and the final product as a result. He's saying that this accomplishment is not worth 4 hours.

EDIT: My mistake. I meant to say "comparison with your mother" and wrote "my mother" instead. It should be "your comparison [of me] with your mother is irrelevant." But this mistake is not from drunkenness.

I believe I've demonstrated that you had no place calling them shitters who don't sell themselves out to your delusion that effort and toil are the only way; moreover, you've demonstrated yourself embarrassingly incapable of making an actual counterargument. Unless this exchange takes a sharp turn, I rest my case.

Define progress? Because using F2P strats without SI is something you can easily do by unslotting inheritted skills, right? There are many people posting F2P friendly guides for Abyssals on YT.

Anyway, I play this game casually so I can't relate to half of the things posted in this topic, but you seriously baited some people to the point where they actually stated they really weren't drunk. That was kinda funny.
