I just have to share what happened! Also Ephraim or Veronica?

So across the 3 legendary banners and 1000+ orbs spent I got like 6 or 7 5* units, and like 3 of them were ones I wanted. (Usually I go into legendary banners wilt at least 200+ orbs) The last legendary banner had me feeling pretty bad about my luck since I got desperate for L!Lucina and didn't get her (spent about 300+ orbs). I also tried to get my first M!Grima and F!Kana but no luck there either. So with all of that orb spending I was left with about 100 orbs for CYL2. Now I wasn't expecting much but on my free summon I got a 5* Ares (already had one but I'm not complaining). Taking this as a sign I continued to summon and by the end of my measly 100 orbs I managed to summon not 1..... not 2..... BUT 6 FREAKING 5* UNITS! Granted 3 of them were in the 4-5*pool..... but I don't care! This has been the LUCKIEST I have felt in months!
The 5* pulled are:
Ares (+DEF -HP)
Brave Celica (+HP -DEF)
Soleil (+ATK -SPD)
Sothe (+RES -ATK)
SM!Eirika (+ATK -DEF)
Brave Hector (+DEF -RES)
and I still haven't used my free summon yet! With that in mind who should I chose to summon Ephriam or Veronica? I shall bless anyone who helps me out with my luck (I'll bless anyone with my luck regardless)

Wow, I'll need your luck desperately. But about which one to free pull... it depends on what you need/ which one you like. I'd personally pick Ephraim because I don't have armor march and I never really use staff units. If you like using healers, then Veronica is probably one of the best ones in the game now. But yeah, kinda depends on what you want.

Veronica is arguably the best healer in the game right now, because she combines cavalry movement + wrathful and dazzling staff + buffs for the entire team. I think that she's pretty good overall even when compared to non-healers in her own regard.

Ephraim is a green armor unit who can follow-up in any phase while getting special cd boost from his B-skill. He's a beast, but if you have any incarnation of axe Hector, then I think that you can pass on him.

I'm now also in a small dillema. Got myself Ephraim and Hector with all the orbs that I had and now I can't decide between Celica and Veronica. Celica has the insane offensive power and imho the best art in the game, whereas Veronica is a good cavalry healer, which is something that I don't have.

If you're trying to maximize value from orbs, I say take Celica on your free summon. It's expensive to pull reds for focus units. If the fodder in the red pool wasn't as good as it is, it would be "red hell."

Usually it's Seth, Seliph and Stahl for me in red orbs, so yeah...that's actually just hell. I was also leaning more towards Celica, because I need a couple more copies of Saizo as well anyway, which would hopefully come during the hunt for Veronica with the orbs that I'll gather in the next couple of days.

Consider yourself blessed. Also thanks for the input! I think you sold me on Veronica since I already have original Hector and L!Hector. I don't have a cav healer yet (but I've tried to pull for both Elise and Maribelle with no luck there). As for your dilemma, if you have Mia, Ayra, or Karla maybe you could pass on Celica. The friendlier alternatives to Veronica are pretty heavy investments just to MATCH her utility/abilities imo. Hope this helps you as much as you helped me!

Yeah, Veronica is the wiser choice in my case as well, because I already have a bunch of offensive sword units and even a +spd Alm with a couple of merges, so that he reaches 45 speed (with spd tactic) on the team that he's in, allowing him to quad with double lion as well, but what's selling me on Celica is the fact that it's Celica and that her art is great.
So it's basically brain vs heart in this dillema.

Edit: Nevermind, just finished the paralogue maps and got +def -res Celica with those last couple of orbs. Your blessing of luck actually worked!

I'm on the same boat got Hector and Ephraim with my orbs. I'm gonna be honest I think Veronica is the better option. She's basically the best healer, basically one of the best support units straight up healing and buffing/debuffing while Celica is really strong I got so many red units I don't really need another but I have no healers and she's being tossed for free so I think she's the best option. Also Veronica seems to be pretty good offensively having nice speed and hitting for res.

What the actual fuck, my pulls were garbage today.

I like Ephraim better but I already have Axe armors
Hector is very good too
Veronica has peshkatz built into her weapon which is one of my favorite weapons!

Sadly didn't manage to pull anyone with my 94 orbs T.T
