I just got the nastiest idea for an AR defense team.

It revolves around 2 characters more than anything else: Hrid and Gunnthra. There are plenty of characters in the game that have exclusive skills or weapons that debuff foes. So, I thought, why not make an entire team based around Chill Skills. I think I have every unit who has exclusive Chill Skills, so I thought of using Hrid (Main unit #1), Gunnthra (Main unit #2), Aversa, Spring Catria, Spring Sharena, and hopefully there will be someone in the future who can Quad Chill (Chill Atk, Chill Spd, Chill Def, and Chill Res; two in the weapon, one in the B slot, and one in the seal slot, when possible.) or a healer, perferably a cavalry healer or Loki. I don't have the 6th defense slot yet (I don't think anyone does), but that's the first thing I'll get when getting to Tier 19. (Which is a long way from now.) I want to do this.

It won't work better than any other team because the enemy chilled will be the one (or those) with the LOWEST defense and/or resistance (Hrid and Gunnthra), which is definitely not going to be the unit who will tank them.

Now having Aversa is a good idea, but her effect is easily dodgeable.

You are left with the normal chills and normal maps against which you play everyday. By now, everybody has a way to counter this.

That's why I thought about adding characters with other exclusive Chill Skills, like Soren, Lilina, Spring Catria and Spring Sharena. The main idea is to try to put chill debuffs on all of your foes at once, to where both Hrid and Gunnthra have a strong advantage against most of them, if not all.

Also, thanks to AR's custom map set ups, you can build a mean defense, not to mention all of the buildings' effects you can take advantage of.

Forget chills, use healers and sweep daggers. Lemme show you something. Nothing baits him to death without sorcery blade.
