I got an Alm! Now what?

I was lucky enough to summon a +Atk -HP Alm on the Falchion banner, but i have no idea what to give him. So far, he seems to struggle the most against armored units, so would giving him Moonbow or even Luna be a good option? His A skill is the one i have the most trouble deciding on. I would like to make as much use out of Windsweep as I possibly can, so does Life and Death work well with Alm? None of the accredited builds seem to incorporate Life and Death, which I am confused by, since it helps him deal more damage AND increase his speed. Also, is Windsweep really all that good of a B skill to have? I would understand if Alm had like, mid 30s speed, but he barely breaks the 20s. I also put Heavy Blade as his Sacred seal, but are there any better options?

You could use Death Blow for your A slot since his Falchion refinement essentially turns it into a ludicrously powerful Brave Sword. Windsweep is more there to help him against units he's unable to one shot with high defense such as Effie or Hardin. In order to use it better you could use the phantom speed seal, giving up some offensive presence. Another solid B skill is Renewal, stacking with Falchion to heal a considerable amount every other turn. Quick Riposte is decent too. Heavy Blade is a good seal to have on him in conjunction with Moonbow or Glimmer as it essentially allows both of these skills to proc on each combat as long as his Atk is higher than the opponents.

LnD only if u plan to make use of his windsweep. An ye hes so good u cant go wrong with him tbh. Still testing out different builds with him.

And if. You dont care about score. Then hit and run/drag back. Is probably his best b slot

First off, refine his Falchion IMMEDIATELY, you will not regret it. Give him Death blow, Glimmer, Heavy Blade seal, threaten def, and whatever in his b slot (either windsweep, renewal, or a breaker), and either reposition or reciprocal aid ( if you're going for reciprocal aid, use renewal)

I don't have an Alm, but I can lend some tips. Give him Moonbow for consistent damage, but Luna can help with the armored units due to scaling. For A slot, I recommend Death Blow but his base kit +3 Attack works as well. Windsweep mainly helps with his survivability, since it prevents doubles (along with your own). But Death Blow allows Alm to deal more damage with one attack because of the +6 Atk for initiating combat. Therefore, L&D should synergize but it would turn his average bulk into paper-thin defense/resistance. So basically, you would want to maximize his damage as much as possible. Other options for seals include Phantom Speed and Attack +3, but Heavy Blade is probably better.
