I found atk/spd push's niche!
Okay, I know this skill seems like its so easily overshadowed by atk/spd bond 3 and life and death 3, but it does serve one unique niche on a certain unit....
Alm!
With this, if alm can destroy his target in one burst, he will only take 6 damage after his combat. Best part is - his falchion has renewal on it, allowing him to proc this again next turn. This is only slightly stronger than swift sparrow or death blow, but it also works on defense - meaning he isn't easily doubled.
It may not be as good as DB3 or SS2, but it can still pull off one heck of a niche.

Well yeah, it can work if you utilize things like Spd Tactic + Speed +3 seal and a speed boon, but I'd rather not build my team solely around having this one unit, Alm, be able to possibly quad units. It's preference, so while the build can work if you actually build for it, I'd rather invest in his attack since he'll be doubling anyway with his Falchion refine.
Still seems kinda wasteful to me.

It is wasteful. Most of the enemies you want gone are dragons, and the blue kind normally stop you cold after the first hit. So Id recommend go full death blow and simply deal as much damage as you can in those two hits before wasting Atk/Spd push on him (namely wasting a unit as good as Tana)

You say it like only one unit can use it... for healers with martyr its their best a skill, not to mention the synergy with any unit whose weapon does damage (celica comes to mind) beyond that I could see it being used over something like LnD on a firesweep sword user like Soleil or Ryoma, especially if it's on mixed emblem with something like double tactic buffs from an Elise or a unit with Breath of life
