I feel like I need to apologize to all those Brave Lyns (Rant Warning)

For getting so frustrated all those times at Arena Brave Lyns. Cause I'd rather face a 1000 more Brave Lyns than deal with another freaking Veronica! Seriously who thought yeah let's take Peshkatz give it a Dazzling property and then give it to a unit with cavalry movement!? It's so annoyingly dumb to face and I'm already sick of facing it and it's only been like a week. It also doesn't help that I care zero percent about Veronica or any Heroes OC honestly. Lyn's nowhere near my favorite but at least I liked her from the main series. But I'm seriously hating Veronica now, like she might be reaching the point where she could actually usurp Takumi as my least favorite character in all of Fire Emblem. I would not be against a skill/seal that negates an enemies Dazzling effect at this point.

But enough ranting, is anyone else getting annoyed by facing Veronicas already though?

You hate Veronica because the community likes to use her since she's the best cavalry healer in the entire game?

I understand your frustrations, but I think you're blowing it out of proportion.

I think her weapon is so freaking annoying with it's debuff/buff without anyway to counter on her initiating give that she has the same range Brave Lyn has. Like I feel like I'm going to have to either start bringing a cav or ranged unit to arena just to save the headache of trying to dance around her freaking attack range. Like I just want to not drop below T18 but after facing 4 Veronicas in a row just for the GC lance and next week when I'll like be in T18 again I'd prefer not to have my deathless run constantly broken cause of her stupid weapon. At least a majority of Brave Lyns could be baited effectively but not Veronica cause then she'll not only debuff you but buff herself.

Try to use harsh Command, or bring a healer with Panic Staff like Maria.

I mean I could potentially replace unmerged Fae with +1 Micaiah? But not sure how good that might be when I want to keep Fir and Catria as staples of the team.

Go for Micaiah she can OHKO Veronica no problem.

I'm sure the reason you're seeing her so much is because she's an Arena bonus unit, along with the other Brave units. Let's not forget that many people don't want to use armored units (eliminating 2) and don't want ANOTHER sword unit (eliminating Celica). Veronica is the only 5* exclusive cavalry healer aside from Elise, and Veronica basically outclasses every healer in the game.

Once this Arena season ends, I'm sure you'll see less Veronica's.

I've gone as high as 718 and I still saw B.Lyn up there. Akariss said he once saw B.Lyn + Reinhardt + dancer + Fjorm in water week (and he knows how to spam BST and SP better than 99% of the FEH playerbase) and they completely wrecked him. If people field merged B.Lyn and we get her at mid to high ranges, yes we can get away from them a bit by scoring higher but the problem will never go away entirely.

I'm in the 734-740 range and still occasionally see B!Lyn and Reinhardt, but they don't bother me in the slightest.

Honestly the thing I found that wrecked me most, even before Veronica, was cavalry healers. Typically that meant they have a Reposition user or two, which they made up for with a +10 bonus unit. Considering almost no one in tier 20+ can afford to run mobility assists or dancers, getting to those healers on some maps becomes almost impossible.

Literally start a couple merge projects; eventually you’ll outclass her in terms of arena weight and you won’t see her eventually. problem solved

This exactly. I haven’t even seen one Veronica yet so I don’t really have any beef with her :-P

My Fir is +10 and Catria is +5 yet I just ran into 4 Veronicas in a row just to get the GC lance.

Thankfully my score is a little decent so i am not encountering Veronicas in my Arena Runs.

Honestly, Micaiah's Sacrifice makes her staff a joke.

Go for it. I think your Micaiah and Catria are more than enough to cover most blue units, but B!Hector might be a problem...

I see tons of veronicas in my arena scoring and it does'nt bother me one bit, maybe it's because I use veronice to bait veronica(I used my free summon on her and I don't regret it)since I gave my veronica Brazen atk/spd and most enemy veronica gets her to the brazen percentage.
Maybe it's the difference of playstyle that makes it annoying for you but not annoying for me.
BUT still I hope that this does'nt turn to another B!Lyn incedent along the road.

Don't forget Veronica also became the popular F2P unit to use out of all the CYL2 units so people who don't have a well established roster can still keep up with the likes of Abyssal difficulty.

And yet another somewhat similar thing between her and B!Lyn. When I started playing I picked B!Ike cause hey RD is my favorite game. So for a long time I had no B!Lyn (finally got one on Legendary Lucina banner) and it sucked when I had to skip F2P GHB Infernal guides cause I didn't have. Now it's Veronica and the Abyssal difficulty (since I've now have more than enough units to eventually beat the Infernal GHB and whatnot) so I'm not even bothering with it just for an accessory. Cause why would I pick a character I care nothing about over a character I at least like a bit? I chose Brave Celica, but I would have chosen any of the 3 over Veronica. It's like if we ever got a Brave Takumi, there's no way I'd chose him over someone else that I actually like no matter how good he was.

I also thought it was bad for the game that they made a dazzling staff version of Peshkatz; it just makes things way too easy especially when her offensive stats are so strong.

Bring harsh command (or Micaiah sacrifice). If Fir can't take her on player phase I think there's an issue with your team comp.
