I dont feel That takumi is good..

For sure H Jakob stole his place xD he's not as good as before when only B Lyn and Takumi were available as god tier. But with the new skills ( such as Bold fighter :p ) he becomes more useless... But he will be always a good fooder. For my part, I gave my CC from free Taku to ... H Jakob ;)

He lost his "shine" LONG before Halloween Jakob, I'd say he lost it shortly after skill inheritance was introduced (or at least that's when I stopped using him).

Feel free to fodder him if you want, I personally intend to keep the first one I got at the start of the game because I only fodder the only copy I have of a character if they have bad IVs.

Yeah, takumi hasnt been good since the pre inheritance days. For a short while after that, he even got a bit of a niche, since his vantage+CC+revenge builds could ruin your day if you didnt kill him in one round.

Pretty sure Jakob had nothing to do with it...if anything, it just says how hood Jakob is. They're even placing him above Bride Cordelia. I think people make the mistake of comparing characters to really good ones that are outliers and pretty much the best at what they do.

And to what you mean, I can kind of see it. On the other side, archers seem hard to stand out unless they have really good offense (Cordelia & Lyn), outstanding durability (Faye & Roy) or pretty much all the above (Jakob, maybe Brave Death Blow Roy). The ones that fall in the average Atk/Spd range and average durability absolutely crave IVs for either of those (Takumi, Jeorge before refine and Clarisse). A Quad user requires massive Spd, which is pretty much Setsuna. And of you build them with Brave > Death Blow, they just end up being a lesser version of people who do it better.

I have a +Spd Takumi, and I'm also seeing how I can build him. He doesn't have high enough Atk to consistently proc Heavy Blade, and likely also needs the S-slot if he isn't +Spd.
