I ascended to Tier 19

This is the first time I arrive here. Will I need the 3rd stage of most skills?

It depends on your team comp. If your units have generally low BST, then yes, but if you utilize something like Armor Emblem or a lot of merges/Aether or Galeforce then not really.
It also boils down to whether you want to advance to the legendary Tier 20 or are okay with downgrading to 18, which in the case of the latter I wouldn't stress getting the Lv. 3 variants.

Unfortunately yes. I came for the Orbs and going higher would actually cost me feathers (because I still can't manage deathless runs against the heavily optimized monsters residing in Tier 20) so bouncing between 19 and 18 is where it's at.

Welcome here. It's okay... I prefer Tier 18 because it's easier to get deathless wins in the arena.
