a hypothetical situation

ok so usually if a unit has a boon and a bane in the same stat, it means that they would have entirely neutral stats.
But what if the stat was a super boon or super bane (ie: like pulling an ishtar with +res -res), would the stats still be entirely neutral? or would they be a little bit off?

...I literally never heard of that in my life. I just assume neutral is neutral.

I've never seen a unit with off-stat so I imagine they must have some other sort of programming in place.

Maybe neutral is its own boon/bane anyway, rather than just the result of having the same boon/bane.

Not sure if that's a thing.

But whatever it is, fact is that there isn't a stat spread with just 1 stat 1 point lower/higher. That's not a thing that exists.

It doesn't exist, but I was talking with someone on the odds of IVs and this came up. There's two ways IVs are chosen and to get neutral IVs it's either a 1/21 chance or a 1/5 chance.

If it's 1/21, then there's no such thing as +Res -Res. It just comes up as neutral.

If it's 1/5 chance (Or 5/25 chance), then whenever there is a thing like +Res -Res, the programmers made it so they will always cancel each other out, even if they're different numbers. So a +4 and a -3 will always make 0, or in other words, neutral.
