Title says it all. I rolled a B!Roy with terrible IVs. Is there anything I can do to salvage him, or is he Galeforce fodder? I don't spend a lot of money on this game if that helps.
I pulled my only brave Roy as -atk and I haven't maxed him out yet but even with a bad - IV he still has good stats and a legendary weapon along with just a great kit with no skill inheritance. If you have someone better go ahead and fodder him off but I would hold onto him, especially if he's the only brave Roy you have. What I'm saying is even with bad IV, he can still be of use but you can ditch him if you don't find him useful
Those are terrible IVs but you can probably salvage him if you're okay with going for workable instead of optimal. Either way, I don't think Galeforce is rare enough to warrant foddering a CYL unit.
If you run him on a horse team, Hone/Goad Cavalry will go a long way towards helping him regain ground - I guess the +HP will make it harder for Panic Ploy to hurt him but it's probably too small of an increase to really matter. Otherwise just build him as normal, maximizing his attack with the best A slot you can manage, Hone/Spur/Goad, and the +ATK Sacred Seal. You might also consider inheriting another Special to him - Galeforce is very cool but at -ATK he might do better firing off Dragon Fangs/Dragon Auras.
